BEWARE - MyCityDeal £5 for £50 evoucher at watchesshop.com

SWANSEA Watch deal.... !!!!!!....!!!!!


I'll explain. The deal that ended at midnight was pay £5 for a £50 evoucher on a small selection of designer brand watches at watchesshop .com

I checked the site & of the designer watches, there was only one watch listed at £49 & they had 5+ left, so i bought the deal.
At 2 mins past midnight when the offer ended, the watch doubled in price to £99.

...I think someone is leading deal buyers astray here...!!!

The £49 watch in question is the : Krug Baumen EMPIRE White Face Ladies
Product Code: 150359KL

I was lucky enough to take a screenshot of the watch listed in the checkout for £49

There were a number of Krug Baumen watches that were also listed at £59. Funnily enough, they are ALL now listed at £99.

Either MyCityDeal & watchesshop .com are in cahoots to diddle us or MyCityDeal are being taken for a ride (again) as i have notice this same thing has happened, time & time again in these forums

Wow- thats shocking! think trading standards need to be contacted- this is not the first time MyCityDeals have done this- I thought the last time may have been a coincidence but now...

It seems like this is the third time in recent days that a deal on Mycitydeals has resulted in price rises after vouchers have been bought:eek::eek:

Certainly has been on for sale at £49 before (cant get a cache from yesterday) & today it is £99

It seems My City Deals regularly do deals where the "shops" rip off the consumer & Martin at the moment thinks is fine & dandy business.

My City Deals earn £17, the shops get a high turnover at the same profit & people like Martin get £6 an order (10,000 orders worth).

I think he may change his mind soon & give the money up.....

Thats what I was thinking too.
