i want to get started decorating cakes/cupcakes please could you give me a list of the nozzles/equipment that you regard as essentials. Also where do you buy mallow fuff from it was mentioned a couple of pages back, thANKS ALOT!

you can buy mallow fluff from asda or tesco, in asda it comes under kosher food so dont know if its in that aisle

Thank you Julie, I remember seeing it in Tescos by the peanut butter but it dissappearred so I assumed that they stopped selling it.

as said above, for some reason Asda class it as a foreign food and therefore put it in the ethnic aisle

its not cheap at £1.90 a jar, but when made up in a recipe, should be enough to cover about 30 cupcakes (depending on how thick you ice them, piping uses more than just spreading)

you can also buy pink fluff, that is strawberry flavoured

do you just using the mallow as it is as frosting or do you combine it with anything before using?

Hi, has anyone ever made an icing that can be piped onto cupcakes, like buttercream, but without any dairy? I've tried buttercream made with dairy free spread, but just splits and looks horrible.

I made these cupcakes whilst having a play around yesterday. A friend was thinking of doing them as wedding favours. I made the wrappers as well.
