Haven't checked the whole thread to see if it's been mentioned, but if you're looking for a confidence boost, there's a site called Cake Wrecks (can't post links as I'm a new user but if you search, you'll find it!) which shows pictures of the mistakes and disasters that professionals have made. Definitely good for the ego when you're struggling - when you see some of the truly ridiculous cakes that the pros are coming out with. Be careful though, some of them are (inadvertently I hope!) a little rude...0

Gotta agree with this, cake wrecks is the greatest place for full on belly laughs. It's given me a great lift when things aren't going well.

on a baking mission this weekend as Ive been volunteered in providing cakes for a family tea party. Will be making an egg free fresh cream gateaux with fresh fruit and some cupcakes for the kids. post piccies when ive done them0
