I went and got my icing and more other bits and bobs ready to make my dd's birthday cake for the weekend. And I've had stuff turn up I have ordered. This cake is costing a fortune! (just like my sons birthday cakes have!):o but I HAVE to make them.
It's the party on saturday so I was planning on making the cakes Thursday night and icing Friday - does that sound ok?
I'm kind of copying your no.1 cake nuttymummy I hope you don't mindI love it so much:D And mine won't be as good as yours. And don't worry - I never plan on selling any. I hope you will be flattered I've copied you

money saving diva, your timing on things sounds ideal
LOL yeah not a problem, if it looks very similar all i ask is that whenever you copy a cake design you give credit to the original designer if you post them on facebook/twitter etc its just abit of common courtesy between cake makershope thats ok?
xx and good luck!
