Part of the Furniture 1,000 Posts I've been Money Tipped!
Was very pleased today to find Asda Long life Whole Milk down to 55p. Its been 72p for ages and then a short offer of 5 for £3. Best before date October.

I use half a carton of this to make my yogurts (6) and then add a bit of water to use in tea and coffee, so a real saving for me at 55p. Think I will go back tommorow and stock up enough until October, if I can think of somewhere to put it that is Lol. Am already climbing over stocks of Branston Beans 4 for £1.

Would love to hear of any unusual stashing places that peeps have found

I'm sure that Iceland sell 4 longlife milk for £2.00.Don't remember if it's just semi skimmed or whole as well.

I have had longlife milk for years now and would probably find the proper full milk hard to drink now.

What size is the Asda product? I've started buying UHT skimmed from Aldi at 49p for a litre and find it a very acceptable altenrative to fresh. (My Iceland has been playing silly bu**ers recently and not had any 4pts fresh skimmed at £1.10 but plenty of 2pts at 86p hence the seach for an alternative.)

Anyhow we have stashes of all sorts of goodies in our garage and shed ;)

ANd a cupboard under the stairs that is now nearly full of Finish dishwasher tablets @ 96p for 15 in Tesco ;)
