24 bottles of Stella (330ml) are £9 at Asda too.

Yes but 20 cans at 440ml is 8.8 litres
24 bottles at 330 ml is 7.92 litres.

I know some people prefer bottles, easier to drink etc.

Still both good deals, the local bars near me charge £3.50 upwards for a pint or a bottle of Stella!! No wonder we don't go out as much!!

Tesco are selling the 330ml 4 packs for £1.25. That equals 24 cans for £7.50. This 9.5p/100ml versus asda at 10.2p/100ml.
We should just have a Stella thread

I have only recently had the time to drive over to ASDA instead of my normal Tesco . I was amazed at this deal ( £12 for 24 440ml cans ) a month or so ago I stocked up... it was not even marked a special offer.. Went back the other day and it was still the same price but Bud was the same as well so stocked up on that too. Tesco very rarely sell Stella this cheap, believe me the amount I drink I should know ! I also got a fantastic pair of fleecy slippers for a fiver whilst I was there LOL ! Might be back there tomorrow if it's £9 I'll be amazed if they have it in stock !

Also got 4xBranston beans 420g for £1 which is fantastic value, great nutritional value for money that.

4 pack of Tesco own brand (not the cheap ones) are 84p for a 4pack 420g.

Thanks for this twink, I now have 12 800g boxes at 25p from my local store. Should keep me going for a while!

I must share the story: There were no shelf-edge labels on the SP washing powder at all. Luckily the store was quiet so I took a large and small box to an empty check-out for a price query. The large box was £1.26 (?) and the small (as you said) 25p. I picked up the 12 boxes but after I'd paid (was busy unpacking trolley when they went through) noticed that 5 boxes had gone through at 25p and 7 at 74p! I went to customer services where they refunded my money with no quibble but couldn't(or wouldn't) explain what was going on. The 74p boxes had different codes so I'm guessing they are new stock.

A year or so ago I was paying 50p for a 1kg pack, soon it will cost 74p for 800g (that's 92.5p per kg). Is it any wonder Asda are losing customers?

thats a good deal for the fanta, i've noticed that there aren't many 3 for £3 offers anymore, tesco have started doing 3 for £4.

I'll stock up from asda I think!

Couple of nice wine offers at Asda too at the moment. Lots of good big-brand wines rolled back to £4.83, including the Montana Reserve Sauvignon Blanc and various Wolf Blass wines, all of which genuinely retail at £8.99 normally.
