Morning all
Plan for today mainly baking and gardening :j
Just need to finish the hoovering upstairs and have a shower. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Good morning everyone (I sound like my old headmistress in assembly!)
Decluttered a few glasses of wine last night and had a fantastic nights sleep! I feel great this morning.
DH, DS1 and DS2 went to Twickenham for the rugby yesterday. It was my Christmas present to DH. They had a fantastic time. It's the first year DS2 and he's been playing rugby this year at school. He really followed the game. I got big hugs from both boys when they got home:).
DD1 is being very trying. Treating the house like a hotel. Out all ours. She annoyed DH last night and he told her to find her own way to work. She's still in bed so I suspect she's phoned in sick. This will affect her finances which will cause more grief:(
DSD and DSS are coming over for lunch. DSS eats for England so I had better get dressed and peel a field of spuds.0 -
OMG DS1 just come into me and asked if this thing in his hand belonged to me, it's only my engagement ring that went missing ages ago....:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:
He found it stuck in the back of the reciner(sp), i'm in total shock. How it ever got there i don't know, the only place i ever put was the kitchen window sil. I even cleaned behind them seats on monday so it must have move while i moved the seats out.:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j
Flip i need a cuppa now.:rotfl:Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough. And things go wrong no matter what I do.Now and then it seems that life is just too much. But you've got the love I need to see me through.:j :j0 -
Grateful you must've needed a nap - I shouldn't worry about it.:o
I've just cut my finger washing up a dog-food tin to put in the recycling. 'Tis only a weeny cut, but I am such a wimp where the sight of blood is concerned._pale_:( I may just need to declutter a whisky to recover.....Can I please ask for some advice. DS2 is not very well, but apart from a high temperature and loss of appetite, has no other symptoms. I've kept him dosed up with calpol and he's spend most of the day in bed/on the sofa. Any ideas?
eta great news, vanilla.Apparently they are just morons. Had an email from my lecturer, the Board of Examiners are meeting on June 15th and we will find out after that. Now need to find out if there is a date we have to submit our graduation application, not sure I want to temp fate and book everything beforehand.
House is an utter pit. Planned to go to church, but then realised 5th sunday and no service here, in bath and heard bells ringing, but too late to mobilise the troops. Need to make a list of lots of complicated things to be done this week, including preparing DD1 for her SATs.
List to start with, zoo this afternoon and then LEWIS tonight, am loving that as lived 4 yrs in Oxford. Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x0 -
