Hi all, got woken up in the night with OH and Stepson getting up. Then OH woke me at 6am to tell me that I need to wash all the bedding I washed YESTERDAY as SS wet the bed. And today it's raining - typical!
Anyway have been out and about this morning so not done much....
Pigpen, have you tried ebay? Ball gowns/prom dresses are the thing often only worn once then sold on, though you'd have to know what size/make fits her ok.
Just decluttered some lunch and a magnum and now must go find me list....working on clearing the clutterDo I want the stuff or the space?0 -
Why can't firms communicate with their customers?
I've been dithering about all morning waiting to hear from the 'puter shop - told me on Monday it would take 'a couple of days' so delivery on Wed.
Just phoned them - the engineer doesn't think he will get to me today - so why couldn't they have phoned me then I could have replanned day.
OK, nothing major, just frustrating and would have been even more annoying if I hadn't managed to connect this laptop.0 -
Hi Folks,
I'm hoping to start doing this, been trying and failing with Flylady, love the idea but don't seem the have the time (3 young kids + work 19 hours a week). Any tips would be most welcome. I've just got a new phone so am hoping to get some apps so I can put my lists on that, anyone do that already ?.
Can someone explain why the list over covers Mon - Wed ?
Thanks.0 -
Pigpen will update the list tonight to include tomorrows, it runs weekdays. You'll get an email from toots / soapie to explain everything
:xmastree:
So you will be seen

OMG, my flat is freaking roasting! It is an old warehouse and the walls are just under a metre thick and made of stone. Lets just say they retain the heat well. Plus i'm 3rd of five floors so i get heat below and above.
Bedroom looks miles better but still got a long way to go, have loads of uni stuff that needs sorted through.
I have also made a lovely looking salad to go with the meatballs for tonight.

Tip...look under bridesmaids dresses rather than prom dresses on ebay, they seem to be considerably cheaper than the latter.DFW Nerd 267. DEBT FREE 11.06.08

Lamewolf - thank you for the tip re lightshades - still haven't attempted them though!
Just to say that I haven't made much progress this week...baulked at the kitchen and haven't recovered yet!
I did wash some loose covers yesterday and just had a mammoth struggle with one cushion to get the cover back on...I didn't think I was going to make it at one point but brute force and dog ignorance won in the end.
I'll definitely be doing the kids rooms tomorrow as DD2 breaks up then and the others on Friday.
I'm very good at making plans for tomorrow!!August Shopping Challenge. 26/8. Budget £250 Spent £256.81.. £6.81 over. So £0.00 a day left.0
