    To correct one piece of false information, Ryanair will NOT refund the tax component. (Strictly speaking, they deduct an administration charge that is equal to the tax due, so you don't get anything back.)

    That was my point about not having anything nice to say - I only asked a question; no need for some of the way the answers were phrased!!

    Also, as this is a money saving expert wesbite with a forum where people can share ideas about how to/how they have saved money, is it really an offence for me to find out if anyone has been in the same situation and found a way to save money??????
    It's not impossible!!!

    My partner is not on his deathbed but mobility is limited which is stopping him from coming - it is a family holiday and he has requested we still go; again, such an offence???
