Copied DVD

After looking at it this morning it screams copy to me but he didnt pick up on that :rolleyes:
It has just turned up and it is without a doubt a copy a bloody good copy and very hard to tell but nevertheless its still a copy.

Do it report it? If so where do i need to go to report it? ebay? or would someone else be interested?

Suggestions please!

When you do this with his feedback it says it all!
Power seller so not much point reporting to eBay. It's clearly a matter for FACT - the seller is running an illegal business. I wonder if he's paying tax?

As far as I know there are no "imports" of Ultimate Force - it was a UK-only release.

Yeah i read the feedback, its shocking that a powerseller can get away with stuff like that goes to show how much ebay care :rolleyes:

Sure, they might just ignore you, but there's a chance they won't.

I bought a DVD from this character a couple of months ago. It is a fake, no doubt about it. I must admint, I didn't read his feedback till after I had bought it and saw how fake it was.

the first thing i did when i recieved the DVD was contact the seller he has just replied with this:

The dvd is manufactured in Asia, probably because it is cheaper to have it made there, we buy them and have them shipped here.

Technically, you are correct in that it was only released in the U.K, but it is imported from Asia so technically that is also correct.

Many dvd titles are made in other countries and shipped to the U.K as they are made for the U.K market so technically most titles are imported...

Which has just infuriated me even more he seems to ignore the whole fact that its a copy :mad:

didn't he just technically admit it was copied since he said he shipped the DVD from the UK but it was also made in Asia, or am I just reading too much into it?

What an !!!!!!! He could have refunded the money when his emergency was over!

Also, if he claims all his DVD's are imported from Asia, then why does his DVD of Ultimate Force have a BBFC '15' certificate on the front?

If it was from Asia (possibly Hong Kong etc) it would have a certificate of CAT I, CAT II or CAT III on it.

What a shady little sod this rum character is!

Report him to FACT.
