Can't right click to open threads in a new tab anymore. Which is a pain. Prefer the cleaner new style although I don't seem to be able to see if anyone has thanked posts anymore. Hope it speeds up soon, it's not encouraging me to spend any time on the forums at the moment.

Please can the next thing the MSE webby team change be the abuse button? - Not all of us have outlook set up, I only use gmail, so its a real pain to report when someone spams the thread and I tend to just leave it.

It looks good, it'll take a little getting used to.

    Criticisms:
The controls are too big and the left margin too wide so the thread ends up too squashed up in the middle. That box at the top with Wow factor etc is very intrusive too.

I look a plum - honestly! People saying to me, what you doing - and I show them and they just puke right next to my desk! Also, wonder why we have traffic lights near the left pane? I know i'm online, any need to set it for the visually impaired?

    hehe

I have to say, this aspet of sharing threads on facebook seems very off to me.

I didnt agree that in the T&Cs of when I joined this site, so can someone explain to me why this is neccesary now?

There is a huge privacy issue that Im not comfortable with.

Considering people can lose thier jobs based on what is put on facebook ( or certianly, not get an interview!!) I actually find this very distasteful.
 Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
    This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast

I'll get used to it although it does look a bit Early Learning Centre to me.

The main gripe is the speed but I guess this is just a teething problem.

ETA: agree with Lynzpower about the FB thing. Very uncomfy about that.

Wonder how many people switch sides and either go to the likes of CAG or stop using it? May start a thread and poll just to see!!

    whats the CAG ?
Its dire - bad on the eyes, way too bright (too much green) - site now looks very DIY - in fact it actually cheapens the look of MSE i'd say. And as for that silly box on post 1 - what on earth is all that about other than to reduce the whole post and ruin any layout?

oh dear, is that what i think it is - they never implemented the preferred by many box that i suggested here then - then i shall never change !

i darent ask about the buttons issue had i ? - oh go on then - are they the nice old blue and white bold buttons or the silly black icon ones ?
