I don't mind the new look, though I never had a problem with the old one lol However I find it is way too slow. Threads are taking an age to open
Quite sad about that. I hope things pick up soon, otherwise I shall feel the need to switch back. Sorry Guys, I know you have worked hard on it.

Not immediately liking it, but will see if I get used to it.DEBT FREE OCTOBER 2012!Proud to have dealt with my debts!0

I'll give it a chance. It's all a bit weird at the moment - but I could grow to like it.0

Sorry but I don't really like it - it hurts my eyes, I'm sure I'll get used to it though0

if not how will you determine that the single post is spam?
? Its always been like that? Though I think there may have been a SPAM button at the top and bottom. The SPAM button always referred to a whole thread, you need to use the abuse button to report one post of SPAM on a thread.
I tried it during the test phase but ended up switching back. I'll give it a go for a couple of days before deciding whether to stick with it this time. Still think some of the buttons and the on/off light are too large.A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0 -
I'm with the "If it aint broke don't fix it" camp. I don't get the "It's more modern" comment. It was fine as it was.
Very slow, making me think "Blow this, I'm off to do something else".
Why do the Thanks, Quote, etc buttons have to be so big? In fact everything is so big, you can only see a couple of replies and it's going to be a pain to keep moving up and down the page to see more of the thread.
When you click Reply the smilies that are showing are squashed in the third column up against the side bar.
I used to use the "open in new tab" option for looking at links, great for checking something out but still keeping the original page. Can't understand why that has disapppeared.
I'm sure I'll be changing back to the old view.0 -
I am in the "too bright" camp. Such bright colors are normal for a nursery, not for a primary school, let alone a secondary one. I thought the majority here were adults with very few children younger than 6.
Unbelievably slow!!!
And whose idea it was to usesymbol for the Stickies? The conventional meaning of this symbol everywhere except MSE is 'quotation', not a sticky.
The newbutton looks like a rain forecast or like crying
rather than the quotation marks.
And see what happens with the smilies on the right side when you compose a reply in a narrow window. It is very unprofessional to presume that everyone has a big screen and likes working in maximized windows!0 -
just to echo very slow! The worst cliques are those which consist of one man ~ George Bernard Shaw

I've changed back.Time has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market. Hence, I have now deleted links to my previous 'pearls of wisdom'. I sincerely hope they helped save some of you money.0
