Yep i am a security officer i do mobile patrols which means i work at many different places and get to drive a company car on the nights im working. Keeps me busy but i want a job with normal hours, just in this industry you only make decent money working nights and weekends. Thanks for the good wishes for the inspection should be ok, got lots of cleaning done yesterday so house looks some what presentable lol just have to get OH to do the lawns this morning (much to his disgust lol) when he gets home as the recent rain has made them grow way to much and it looks untidy.

Yeah have had to arrest a few people (with the help of the police), other than that my main job consists of making friends with door handles and pesky false alarms lol. Its amazing how many people cant work out how to lock or shut a door (hellooo people you are inviting the criminals to steal your stuff).

False alarms are very annoying, I'm the key holder for our office and have been called out on many dark rainy nights as the wind has rattled the front door setting the alarm off. I've learnt to say Ive been drinking and can't drive now if I get a phone call!

Thats why most business's here get security to do it for them (as we are paid to be awake all night), at least that way the key holder isnt woken up at all times of the night.

Well its that time of the week again back to work tonight for another 4 nights of work. But at least its payday this week. Was a NSD yesterday and should be another one today but will wait till after midnight to see what happens (never know with work) but i have had my dinner before work cos i was up early enough (yummy lemon and herb roasted chicken drumsticks with rattatoulie that was in the freezer from last weeks major cook fest lol) and i have some stew and rice to take with me to work (cooked on this lot of days off). So much money being saved from not eating takeaway and also from not smoking (now 8 days smoke free) hope everyone is well.

Good hes on the pre-quit patches for the next two weeks, they are ones that are designed so that you cut back first and then after 2 weeks stop completely but i am seeing an improvment in the number he is not smoking which is good.

Well home from work, done a couple of surveys that where waiting for me in my email. Checked internet banking and paypal (money has gone in from sale of item on ebay yay) now just got to wait till 9am so I can go down to the post office and post the parcel, which will mean that my first ever ebay sale is complete (well apart from the feedback part). Then i will be dragging myself in a sorry state off to bed ready for work again tonight (hopefully more sleep comes my way today than it did yesterday). The reward points for the surveys are starting to add up to a nice little sum, will be great when I can actually redeem them for stuff though. Put my usual $10 away for the day (oh how these are adding up and now I what a waste of money smoking was). Hope all is well with everyone else.

Hmm just me again forgot to add that yesterday was a NSD. Today however will be a LSD as I was a little out with the postage costs for the Ebay parcel (only by 40c though), nothing else needs spending today though. Tommorow will be the big one as its pay day, not like im counting or anything :)
