Anyone else having problems with Grass Roots website? It's not letting me log in
ETA: Never mind, after 10 minutes of nothing working, the minute I post it works perfectly!0 -
Well after my very lucrative month of May with RE I can safely say they have zilch now!! Argh!! Must really broaden my horizons with MS companies (just annoying that some don't do the shops in Scotland!)
OH has nabbed a couple of betting shops so thats at least something. May try helion but I'm trying to weigh up the pro's and con's after reading some of the info on here.
Seriously skint this month so I need to up my game :rotfl:.
I wouldn't depend on Helion if I were you. I have applied for loads of jobs but they seem to allocate them to an elitist few and if you are not known to them you don't get any.
There are loads of other companies with work in Scotland. Have a look at the first page of the thread and sign up with all the companies there - I am sure you will see many more opportunities.0 -
:rotfl:I'm in Scotland and have been with Helion since they started up but zilch so far for me from them.:(
I am in the same position. When they released the first wave of jobs they allocated them to people who were known to them and to be honest i have seen very few jobs in Scotland since then. Apart from that they seem to have a lot of administrative problems so maybe it is just as well :rotfl::rotfl:0 -

It's not so much the length of report that got me first time with them, but the 'spreadsheet of doom' as I affectionately called it.0 -

I did a job for them last week and couldn't believe how big the report was either! At least the job was well paid to make up for it.Flymarkeeteer: £168 and counting0 -

I don't think that's true. I know that many know Max from his days with another company but I didn't and I still managed to get 4 shops from them. I also live in a big city where there is high competition. The only thing that I did do on Max's request was to email him. I consider it to be networking more than being one of an "elitist few".
I work for another company where I know I am not one of their favourites (which is a shame as I love the work!) but they do regularly call on me for help when they're let down. However I'm never offered the work in the first instance, so I rarely get anything that's in the most local places to me. The annoying thing is that I know that unless I prove myself to them by going out of my way to help them then I won't get into their favourites list.0 -
Just started working for edigital. Did two music surveys and now have some travel ones. Just got a message to say my travel one has been accepted and is in my invoice area.
Should my music ones have done this? how long do i wait before asking. only started so don't wanna make a fuss straight away.I get what i want. That isn't because i'm a brat or spoilt. It's because i'm determined, i work hard for it and i achieve my goals!0 -

If you log in and go to "invoices", in issue invoices, you have an option to "click here" to see jobs you have completed but may not have been vetted.Even if you are a minority of one, the truth is the truth.0 -

They are longer than a GAP questionnaire but IMHO they are not that bad.
As you say they are usually well paid.
At least it's not 10,000 words and 30 photos as per CHG :eek:0
