I have completed my first merchandise visit today after applying for months. Are the reports really as simple as completing a spreadsheet and sending a photograph or have I missed something?

I have three merchandising jobs to do tomorrow for a 'new-to-me' company....bit nervous tbh - big boxes!!

  • OK first potentially dumb question. For the RE nice smelling shop is foundation an acceptable item. It says not to chose an item where you cannot receive a demonstration. I'm not sure if they do foundation demonstrations. Thanks in advance to anyone who can help.

Don't they have testers for all the make-up type things? Who would buy foundation without seeing if its the right shade? I should think it would be ok. HTH

They have tester so I'd say so. I went in to get some lip gloss and the have testers for them. I wasn't shopping them but the girl was really good! I signed up to their loyalty card the first time I shopped them and they sent me a £5 voucher for my Birthday a few weeks ago. Highly recommend it.

Did everyone get that email from Gap?

If you want to go into a prize draw to maybe possibly if you're lucky win a whopping £50 all you have to do is shop 6 - yes just 6 - burger jobs this month.

Erm, think i'll pass if it's all the same with you. Especially as you've doubled the entry criteria from the last prize draw!

I got it. I have to admit, the very thought of having to eat six burger meals in one month makes me feel sick!

Got my first job for TNS tomorrow. It's a pub. My parents local, no less. It doesn't say anywhere on the brief dogs aren't allowed just that children aren't....

(possibly because the pub company doesn't know they are! Mum's sausage dog has been hidden under a coat at the manger's request before)

I've got foundation from them on a shop in the past so its fine.

I've signed up for a few of the companies. In all honesty I think I'm just to lazy to work out other companies systems. I started with RE and know that system well. Must get out with my comfort zone.

Used to do a load of jobs for gap but well they messed up the pay a little too much for my liking :(.

Thats my task for the weekend, work out how to work other systems!!

Catalyst, Beyond hello, Tern, React, JKS, Bare and Secret Shopping Services all use the Sassie system so once you understand one of them you will understand them all! :)
