It seems the money was sent to my Helion sign in email address and not the email address I had put down in my account details as my paypal account. Strange though because I should have received an email on my sign in one to say there was money to collect.

Anyway, got the money now, :)

I never got an email either, but I'm 99% sure that's paypal's fault not Max's thankfully. I had to log in and accept the payment, which was weird, but i think it's because the payment is sent in € so it gives us the option to return it, presumably if we wanted to force the sender to pay in £'s, which in my case I couldn't, as I'd agreed to be paid in €'s.

Glad yours is sorted too.

Is it for a visit that involves a credit check? If so then no, the fee reflects the credit check and is not normally anywhere near that amount.

I think (and I stress the think) the job requires you to make 2 visits to the bank, so that's another reason why the fee is larger than normal.

It does, but hope that isn't a problem.

It may need two visits, but its only a few miles away, so again, no problem.

Being credit checked is only a problem if you have a bad rating already and another search is likely to have a negative impact on your life outside of MSing.

  • Hi, has any ever had this on RE?
I'm not sure what it means and why I have got it, I put a lot of time and effort into my shops and reports this week, so I'm a bit puzzled!
