I've been using my iPhone as a voice recorder. I usually hold the screen against my purse and turn it upside down so the microphone is closest to me and the person I'm talking to, and so far it's been pretty good. Even against the background noise of roadworkers it's been able to pick up the voices.Moving onto a better place...Ciao :wave:0 -

However it has been noticed by burger HQ that some restaurants take the p*** with their complaints, one restaurant had even asked for the head of MS to clarify what the shopper meant by "the fries were greasy" :rotfl:
Thats just it i said everything was fine apart from cleaning materials left unattended for a while on a table and kids were squirting it.. they didn't query that...
but they query what i looked like lol and that a male came into the restaurant and sat with me lol
and they queried "what do you mean private conversation infront of you"0 -

I use the headphones that came with it, the microphone on that picks up everything. So I usually have my headphones around my neck, fits in with my style anyway (jeans and casual t-shirt) so I don't look out of place.0 -

Might try that on a shop one day see if it works any better. I couldn't cope without my iPhone now but I really love my dictaphone. It's small, light, reliable and holds about 500 hours of recordings!Oh and the batteries last aaaaaaages unlike the iPhone!

Last time they queried me they got my age way off i.e. added ten years
Needless to say I was even less inclined to be lenient after that insult :rotfl:0 -

Unless the MS Co has really screwed you over (moneywise ) then I'd advise anyone to "stay on their books"
You never know whe out of the blue they contact you for a desparate job.
1 GAP: not worked for them for years: They rang, I haggled, 5xfee for 5 min job near my work
2. Mystery-shoppers: Done 1 job in 4 years. They emailed. Did 5 mins work 5 x RE fee for 3 emails.
3. Abai: Signed up about 6 years ago. Never did 1 job. Incentive now to do 15 has paid off.
Never say never0 -
I am now the proud owner of an iPhone, but am yet to get to grips with the Simplenote application. How do you get briefing notes and questionnaires onto the phone for when you're out and about? I've signed in with Simplenote by the way, and know it does work because I typed some jobs I need to do at home on my phone and it synced automatically with SN.
Sorry to be dim, but I'm a bit of a numpty with techology - some might call me a technophobe. Could someone who does know PM me please? Simple instructions would be much appreciated!
Many thanks. Can anyone help me please?
It was me that recommended Simplenote. Sorry, I wasn't about much yesteday so didn't see your question until today.
On iPhone, open Simplenote and tap the spanner icon top left. Look down for Web Synching and make sure this option is on.
Then you just log in on either the iPhone or online, make or edit your notes, and it synchs automatically with almost immediately.
You can pay for a premium version which has no ads but to be totally honest I havent even noticed the ads on it!We’ve had to remove your signature. Please check the Forum Rules if you’re unsure why it’s been removed and, if still unsure, email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
