Doing an ESA report - "Brand Ambassador" - I ask you - what's wrong with calling them a member of staff for God's sake!!!!!We’ve had to remove your signature. Please check the Forum Rules if you’re unsure why it’s been removed and, if still unsure, email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0

Unless the MS Co has really screwed you over (moneywise ) then I'd advise anyone to "stay on their books"
You never know whe out of the blue they contact you for a desparate job.
1 GAP: not worked for them for years: They rang, I haggled, 5xfee for 5 min job near my work
2. Mystery-shoppers: Done 1 job in 4 years. They emailed. Did 5 mins work 5 x RE fee for 3 emails.
3. Abai: Signed up about 6 years ago. Never did 1 job. Incentive now to do 15 has paid off.
Never say never0 -

The presentation they showed still lists the bookies that have definitely gone elsewhere and the corner shops that are in the process of moving...
They have removed the sandwiches though
How did that go?? I went to one in Nov, I thought it was interesting but not as well managed as I expected it to be.0 -
Has anyone had/hoping to have a phone call this week?0

It was interesting but not as good as I thought it would be. Also was under the misassumption that given that we're shoppers and would most likely have a full packed day of shops after it (I did anyway!) that everyone would be smart but casual...
Turned up at the very posh venue, everyone was suited and booted (yes even the shoppers!) so felt like a right goon in my jeans and t-shirt... I had 6 egg shops to do after it though so would have felt a bigger goon later in a suit :rotfl:
The bit talking about gyp lasted about 5 minutes before the burger managers arrived, didn't even manage to have a moan about not being able to call them...
Rest of it was all about the burgers, burger managers suggesting things like "can't you check the toilets twice so we can be sure they're clean?", "can't you do video assignments so we know for definite if the MOS smile or not?" (for gyps burger fee I don't stuffing think so would want at least 10x that for video if not more!), "how do you not get confused doing the timings cos we do when we do our internal audits?"...
The guy from gyp said that they had commissioned thousands of timing devices for the burger jobs but then decided not to roll them out so they're currently sat in his office  what a waste of money!!
There was one very talkative lady there and really struggled to get a word in edgeways. Head of MS from burger HQ was sat next to me and kept trying to shut little miss gobby up so I could get my point across but it didn't work... Fee was fairly decent for gyp standards though, was surprised they hadn't bought us lunch from the burger place as a treat though!
One shopper mentioned they use a voice recorder to ensure they get accurate timings all the time when they do the burger shops. I need much much more than the burger fee to get my dictaphone out!!0 -
Is anybody else having problems with music surveys? Can not get onto the site.No Matter what you do there will be critics.0

Do Bare let you know if you've not been allocated jobs you've applied for?
I've got some applications (computer stores) that have been sitting there for some time, and they're still on the job board - seems a bit odd as I think the first day you could shop them was today.
Is this normal for Bare? It's the first time something's come up near enough for me to apply.0 -

Today was first shop day and if they leave it till late then i'm not going to be able to do it. Stupid really.I get what i want. That isn't because i'm a brat or spoilt. It's because i'm determined, i work hard for it and i achieve my goals!0
