I just got accepted for a test MS, but it's for tomorrow, but the bumph says wait 24-48hr for the details to take to the test. Will I be penalised if they don't send the stuff through in time (the job only appeared today, and it was accepted 1/2 an hour ago).
Moving onto a better place...Ciao

I got the same. I have sent an email querying this as in the email they sent out advertising this assignment is says that the due date is 7th June. I think they want us to sign the special form and do the little online 2 minute form within the next day or so. There may be a bit of a mix up. I'll keep you posted if I hear anything.

Thanks, same here if I hear anything. I must admit I panicked a bit seeing tomorrows date, I like to give myself time to check and triple check everything :D

I asked the co about this and the date needs to be recorded and stuck to because they check your work. As there are over 800 stores being covered, they need to ensure that there will be staff available to do the checking - especially on the busiest dates.

However, I think I may change my date to the 14th of the month - thus giving me 14 days to get photos. I will upload on this day, but may have collected my photos on previous dates during the month. (what are people's thoughts on this - I am not doing anything wrong am I?) If you change the date to, say the 2nd of the month, then you must upload your photos on this day - otherwise you go over your deadline.

By all means change it to the latest day, but if you take the pics before, I wouldn't wait until the 14th to upload them. We don't know what goes on behin the scenes. For all we know the client may telephone the non-compliant stores and tell them to sort (whatever it is) out. You're asking for trouble if the manager turns around and says that it's compliant! It'd cast doubt over all of your work on the project.

Had an interesting one yesterday. Visiting some old stones for Gfk had a lovely day in the sun.

The MOS was excellent, and I got into a long conversation with her about her time as a curator. I told her I was between jobs at the moment and looking for some interesting work. "Oh, you should try this!" and went through to her office, bringing back a ream of paperwork from Gfk about her upcoming Mystery Shopping Visit.

She had the full briefing that we receive, including likely timescales. You'd be good at mystery shopping (I'd told her my background) and it's flexible and varied. She said they can often spot the shopper, especially when they have to make a phone call about something daft! She then gave me a discount on my ice cream!

I had to make the phone call after the visit. She must have "made" me at this point as there had only been three other people visiting that day!

That Mystery Shopping idea sounds good, I might try it!

Oh gosh the poor woman. Imagine the blood draining from her face as she hears your voice on the phone!
