Felt a bit stupid as had to go back and ask and it appears the menu option is removed and you use a short cut now.
I got beamreader from the app store for about £10 I think to open pdfs, was a bit temperamental! Again they mite have better software on now.
Will check abai and report back!0 -
he downloaded mini opera which meant i could load the websites up.
problem is it isn't very compatable with my phone. it's a LG GW520 with a slide out qwerty keyboard. when opera is running the qwerty doesn't work, it wont change to landscape view and the screen is quite small so very tricky to use.
think i'm gonna try another phone.I get what i want. That isn't because i'm a brat or spoilt. It's because i'm determined, i work hard for it and i achieve my goals!0 -
From the alerts thread:Clothes and Restaurant on RE. Just picked one of each and am feeling well chuffed. Restaurant had a good reimbursement. Go Mimi! Woohoo. Hope everyone else gets some too x x x
Could anyone please PM me which brands these are? I never saw them and wondered if it's as they're not in my area? Cheers.0 -

Can anyone help me with the GR address system please? I had 5 addresses in nearby towns and this has worked fine for about a year. Then last October it slowed down and I haven't been offered a certain electrical store since.
I still have, for example, one address listed on a local retail park and occasionally get jobs for one store there, but not for the electrical store which is also on the retail park. Will it really make a difference if I add the address of the electrical store, which is only a few doors away?
I have another address for a different town and that seems to get me offered jobs in the entire town centre, so I can't understand why I'm suddenly having so much trouble in my most local town - could it be a massive influx of shoppers pushing me down the list of people to offer the jobs to?
Also, is there an age limit on the electrical store?0 -

They'll almost certainly use it as an excuse for not paying you IMO. :mad:0 -
Re gap queries, I did one in my home town for an increased fee on the 2nd last day of month. Was one they emailed to say they recorded on cctv and would check.
Ordered food and got receipt, realised I went to school with a girl behind the counter. Had not seen her in 8 years and was not friends at school.
Realised when I sat down that timing had not worked on phone. Girl came over and started asking me how I was, where I lived now, if I was going out that night etc....
Got home, did report, guessed time and explained what had happened. Figured it was too late to reshop, as they were going to check cctv they could amend times and stated I clearly did not expect to be paid.
Mum got a call next day begging her to re-shop and she refused.
I never heard back, got paid full increased fee and have not been fired!!!!!
Speaking of gyp, had missed call from oz number- they forgot to withhold it!:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j0 -
Clippy_girl, that's reassuring to know re. GAP! Hopefully they appreciate your honesty re. timings etc (I had to similar last week as I did a pizza job and lost my times - not heard anything back so fingers crossed...)0

I asked the co about this and the date needs to be recorded and stuck to because they check your work. As there are over 800 stores being covered, they need to ensure that there will be staff available to do the checking - especially on the busiest dates.
However, I think I may change my date to the 14th of the month - thus giving me 14 days to get photos. I will upload on this day, but may have collected my photos on previous dates during the month. (what are people's thoughts on this - I am not doing anything wrong am I?) If you change the date to, say the 2nd of the month, then you must upload your photos on this day - otherwise you go over your deadline.0 -
