I have just submitted my ESA assignments as well and was wondering the same thing. It gave me a survey confirmation no then disappeared. I guess this is normal. This is my first job for them this year so I can't remember what happened last time. Did the job go well? Did you enjoy it? :j

I've just submitted mine too, first I've had with this company and the same thing happened to me so must be OK.

BTW I'm getting the double posts on both the laptop and my Blackberry so must be a problem with MSE.

I have been browsing some other parts of MSE (planning holidays, see what happening in discussion etc). There seems to be a lot of duplicate posting so perhaps the problem lies not with the poster!

By the way with the Egg jobs I did I spent well over the amount stated and they just refunded me up to their limit. No problems at all if you want to snap up a bargain when you spot one! I am quite pleasantly surprised with that particular store as they seem to run some very good promotions - just not on eggs!

    Hi everyone

I've been mystery shopping for a few months and been reading this thread for a while and found it really useful, thanks. So I thought that I would join in....I should be typing up my reports really, but am enjoying a glass of wine instead while the OH gets tea ready

Was just wondering what you all do about follow up calls. Do you answer and politely decline (after being so enthusiastic the day before!) or let it go to voicemail. I've been vetting my calls but am getting loads now. Also I sometimes end up missing a call I would have liked to answer. I've got an old phone so might get another sim especially for MSing.

I did a lot of the RA chemists for the first time yesterday and found the visits and reports to be really quick and easy, won't need to buy any painkillers for a while either!

I'm not getting double posts, apart from last night with those on the hen party  lol. Back to normal today.

Esa jobs will disappear until about the 21st of the month, then you can see under your pay history the list of jobs they will be paying. So don't worry they will turn up, just annoying you can not keep a track until then.

Don't give them your real number.

I learnt an important lesson yesterday - never buy a camera anywhere except a specialist camera shop. The advice I was given wasn't just poor, it was actively wrong! I was equally amused and embarrassed by the fellow customer shaking his head and mouthing 'no' as the mos spewed nonsense about zooms. Needless to say I mentioned it in the report, but really.

And now I just need to find a movie I want to see tomorrow. This is my first assignment for first tracking, I've read the notes but it doesn't mention a) going alone or b) having to do it at any particular time of day. Am I being thick, or can I take Himself at tea time tomorrow?

You can go alone or take someone else with you, but they will only re-imburse 1 ticket / drink / popcorn etc. As long as the result is input by late tomorrow evening (midnight I think) you can go to any film of your choosing from Friday - Sunday pm.
    Enjoy

Magic. That's what I thought, but I do like to be sure. Cheers.

You need to give them your real number on some though don't you as you have to give feedback on follow up calls?

Yes and I hate it when the follow up calls come .. and the person has been so helpful in giving information on booking a function, or hotel room, or opening a bank account, and then you have to bluff your way out of it.

I usually tell them to call at a time when I'll be out so they get the answerphone!!!

The worst were the self-storage quotes I did last year. I did several, some by phone, some by email. I was getting calls for weeks after! So annoying!
