If you mind answering newbie questions why bother?
I don't mind answering questions at all!! What I do mind is people asking stupid questions because they're too darned lazy or haven't got the intelligence to look up the answers for themselves!!

I was in a bit of a rush last night and I did look through my notes and they did look the same but I've been caught out before and wanted to check with others who have done these surveys before just to be sure.
But, as I said, scenarios DIFFER FROM JOB TO JOB. No-one on here knows what scenarios the jobs you pick are!!!!! You say you've been caught out before. What if someone had said "Yes, they're the same" and when you came to enter the results, you found they were different? You'd be caught out again!!!

    In Conclusion
If "you regulars" don't want to help out then don't reply!! Simples.
We do help out. That is why we are here. If we weren't here, there wouldnt be a thread at all. SIMPLES. (Well, apart from a lot of newbies asking questions which never get answered, LOL!!) But as I said, we're NOT here to spoon feed you information that you can easily find out for yourself.

Thanks to ChefBungle who replied to my question without a song and dance about it. :T :)
And just typing something else cos it wont let me post the thread without!!!!!

thanks sf123 and jen for your advice about the eggy jobs. The instructions I read were fine about going over £3 but the questionnaire had the bit about maximum req'd. Fingers crossed it will be okay. I will let you know.................

You will be ok but wont get over the X amount they offered. Its sometimes hard to get smack dab on X when eggs cost XX and then you need to a bit after.
  • just back from my eye test and had the same fit guy that did it last year.

Sounds good. My eye test sucked, frankly. I spent over two hours at the optician thanks to their total lack of urgency and bumbling incompetence. I now know never to go there for my glasses at least. I'm tempted to ask for an increased fee - it took about 4 times longer than these jobs usually do.

Not noticed it with mine, but I have seen it happening with others over the past 24 hours or so.
