I've had a look at a couple of them and they look the same but thought I'd better check with you guys first.RE - Pharmacies. Does the prescription have to be for me or can it be for like my Mom?
I'm not wanting to sound harsh ... but the answers to both of your questions could be found quite simply by reading through your job notes.
Scottishchick: Not all egg jobs are the same, I've known them to be different, I've known them to be the same. We won't know whether the jobs YOU have been allocated are the same or not but your notes will tell you!
Mimi:If you open the job notes for the pharmacy jobs, in HUGE letters at the top it says so very clearly "Important update: You must be able to submit a prescription on this visit. This can either be for yourself or for someone else."

I've made a serious error of judgement. I've booked 10 eggs shops for next Saturday, and I'm out with work at the Races for an all day drinking sesh on the Friday. I get the worst hangovers in the world!:eek:0

Anyone else doing the eggy shops today? I have spent more than the 'required maximum spend' do you think this will be a problem? Has anyone done this okay before?
Yes, more often than not I've spent over the reimbursement. Not done any eggs on the last couple of waves so not sure if the brief has changed - I don't remember it saying required MAXIMUM when I did them? Could be wrong though...
If the brief specifies a max spend I probably wouldn't risk going over it... however if it's a minimum spend, I wouldn't worry about it...
Hmmm, I have probably not been much help there0 -
I noticed this on the assignment notes for the egg jobs

PURCHASES All products/items purchased as a requirement of the job that are not required to be returned to Head Office should be destroyed by the researcher or donated to a registered charity. This is in line with Inland Revenue legislation in order that the cost can be reimbursed as an 'expense' and not form part of taxable income.<<
I had never noticed it before. It answers a lot of questions that were discussed recently regarding MS purchases.
I wonder how it applies to meals or the famous burgers :rotfl:0 -

According to what HMRC told me if you have to answer questions on the product (read burger, pizza etc) then it is a necessary expense and is listed as non-taxable. HTH
Couldn't think of anything witty to say so just keeping the space until I can

A question...
I have noticed on some MS sites they ask for MS qualifications. Does anyone have these and do they make a difference to the assignments offerred? At the moment I'm not doing this as a fulltime job, occasionally for the treats really.
BTW Did my first GAP stamps today- how easy was that and a really quick simple form afterwards too- Thanks Gap, needed an easy one having spent half the day getting lost in the labyrinth of Kirriemuir trying to find egg shops...0 -

If you mind answering newbie questions why bother?
I was in a bit of a rush last night and I did look through my notes and they did look the same but I've been caught out before and wanted to check with others who have done these surveys before just to be sure.

If "you regulars" don't want to help out then don't reply!! Simples.
