Anyone else get an email from RE about using duplicate pictures? (I have never done this unless I have mistakenly done it) Well I can see about 100 peoples email addresses. Not very amused.

No but I did get an email from GFK postponing one of my email assignments and containing other peoples email addresses. Doesn't take much to blind copy. Not impressed, especially as we have to remain anonomous as mystery shoppers. Grr.

You are not being honest if you don't write what you find and then they really will have reason not to pay you. They will not withhold your money for a bad report but if they find out you have falsified a report then you will be out of pocket and out of a job! Be brave, that's what mystery shopping is all about!

Take photos as proof, then they can't not pay you. Is it RE? They very rarely don't pay unless you haven't followed the scenario correctly.

Was it a phone call one?

I did one a few weeks ago for a high fee and all I had to do was ask a simple question. Phone call lasted just over a minute and there were only a few questions.

No it was a visit to a Big electrical store.

OK I did have to take a photo, but no problem on the industrial estate. :D

    Another first:
It's already been proofread and in my account for payment

I spoke to the "handler" (Russian spies being in topic ) and she confirmed it was only 7 questions.

It is a new client so I think they've got it all wrong TBHO.

As asked is it for RE?

They are good (did I just say that ;)) if your report is honest and accurate. No real problem of being "sacked" or not paid if the report is honestly bad.

Is it a student type "hotel"?

    On Gyp website??????????

    Never heard of them??

NEW Important Information for ***** Shoppers

    02.07.10
Shoppers are reminded that they are only able to purchase a single item for immediate consumption when completing ***** assignments.
However, you must still observe if the staff member offers an upsell

If my memory serves me right, that may be an Irish client only. If my brain is now so addled by MSing, it could be anything!!:)

Either way, I think it's the name of a client, so you probably need to doctor your post.;)

Yes re not a student haha I couldn't do that one!

Thanks for the vote of confidence I have been snapping away photos but the hotel
has a prom on as well 200 students under my bedroom which has a leaking tap and broken things (16 bdrm place) sold out too

I wouldn't do it but I'm already checked in so I would have to pay its not so simple brain damage!

Trying to make the best of it but even the mattress in the bedroom is broke lol

For quite obvious reasons - we are supposed to be 'undercover' - I would have thought you'd have known that....

But it's fine for me to announce myself even though I ALSO WORK IN MYSTERY SHOPPING?!:mad::mad:

Why, what have you got to hide...?

Well quite obviously my identity - I thought I'd made that quite clear (if you're lacking in the observation department I'd give msing a miss).

I do not have to identify myself just because you want me to - get over it

You need to report the truth. As it is that bad, the hotel need to be aware of the problems so it can be sorted out.

Ah I think I know the one now! I did it in a large supermarket but I just got the normal fee. Didn't mind as I was in there anyway for someone else.

PS sorry about the rude avatar. I'm at a virtual hen party in another thread :o
Here I go again on my own....
