Just had a look and Ive got 13 jobs pending on RE.The shame of it.
I wouldnt mind but it must come to about £19 in fees.;)

    Can anyone beat that?

Not sure that I want to beat that, thanks very much!!!

Based on this, it's getting to be a fine line between them paying us and us paying them!!

I just hope you had a bit of fun doing those 13 jobs ... maybe a couple of good meals, an exotic holiday, some luxury treats ...?;)

Hi. Can I ask a question please?

I was involved in a car accident on Weds and my car is being taken away by insurers on Monday to be repaired. I will be using the bus on Monday to get the kids to school and also I have a job for RE. I will be buying a 'day saver' bus ticket @ £4.50 so that I can travel all day with it. I'm getting a hire car but cannot guarantee it will be before 5pm :o and the RE job needs to be done on Monday.

How do I claim the right way for the cost of travel for the MS? Do I simply work out how much it would cost me on the bus to the MS and minus that from the £4.50?

    I'd claim the full £4.50
  • Ugh, what rubbish weather we're having here today. Mega heavy showers, then blue skies followed by another mega heavy shower. Got just three mystery shops to do today but feeling hard to get motivated in this weather! Oh well, got to be done as I need the pennies!

Same here. Was out training at 8am this morning, and it was that sort of drizzle where it's not actually raining but you still get wet.

Complete contrast to Thursday evening's session where it was so hot at 6pm. We really struggled and ended up doing a load of crunches and stuff in the shade of the trees :D

Just a couple of audits for me and some eDigital surveys to finish off.
Here I go again on my own....

I'd check with the taxman- when claiming for fuel the example I was given was that if you were taking business expenses to the bank you could claim, but if whilst you were there you stopped in Tesco's for a loaf of bread, then you couldn't claim it. I'd guess the rules are the same for public transport.

I see the point but don't think thats very fair. If you were going into town for the purpose of a job but did a couple of extra things while there it just makes sence instead of going twice. The question is, would you have gone to do the extra bits if you hadn't been going for the job?

If you would not have taken the trip if you hadn't been going for the job than i would claim, as without the job you would not have incurred the expenses.
