(from the ALERTS thread - best not reply on there!!!)

I guess you are quite close to me going on the alerts you post!! I'm in N Lincs... is it you that snaps up all the restuarants on RE before I can get to them? ;) I've only ever seen one Italian Bros on there and have never seen the one round the corner from me!

Not far from you but have to be honest its not me with ALL the restaurants :rotfl:Hubby works away so I pick them up if he is home but the italian bros was me :D You must be the one who gets every ESA job though ;) I cant get a single job with them - think next time I apply for one I am going to offer bribery in my submission see if that makes a difference

  • Am i right in thinking, i can accept as many emails on gfk as i want so long as there not the same company?
A guy at GFK told me that you can only accept 1 customer AND 1 non-customer email or phone call per week for any company in total (7 days must pass before doing any more) or they will be deallocated!!!!! so thats 2 only per week not 2 for each company

If that's the case then I think I've accepted too many emails for tomorrow :(. Just re-read the restrictions and I'm still not sure, but if an actual gfk employee has stated that that is the rule then I guess it must be right. You'd think they could write it a little more clearly.

I read it as per company to be honest - from the website:
You may only complete ONE customer and ONE non-customer call to any organisation during any given week. Should you allocate or complete more, you will not be paid for these

I know I have completed more than one call a week and none of them have been deallocated but they were to differing organisations. Think jen is the queen of these, she will be along shortly to explain!!

It's really confusing, isn't it? But I did a phone call (customer) last Saturday and an email (also customer) on Monday so those definitely weren't 7 days apart and I did both of them and submitted the first part of the questionnaire and they haven't disappeared off my scheduled visits page, so...?

Hmmm.. I'm worried now, just checked and I have four emails and a call booked in for tomorrow, and I already did a call on Tuesday, so clearly I'm over the limit if it's only two a week.

I've sent an email to ask, but I'm not optimistic about getting a response before I'm scheduled to send tomorrow.
