My first increased fee was with ESA. Four times the original fee. Also got a couple of egg shops from them at two and a half times the fee. Big distances involved though. But where I live big distances are the norm. 20 miles is local.

Gyp phoned me about a travel agent job. I said it was to far to go. 'Name your price' he said. I could hear him choking when i asked for 5 times the fee. I didn't get the job.

I never understand situations where one is asking for a large fee/mileage for something a company is struggling to shift and they aren't impressed. Particularly given what other companies have sometimes accepted when negotiating add ons.

Oh heck, just got rumbled doing one of my covert crisp jobs! So annoying as I only had about 4 bays to go but didn't see the busybody staff member watching me and he apprehended me! Asked me what I was doing, why I was taking photos etc. It was quite scary really, I just told them I was doing a project for a course I was on but he quoted the data protection act at me and asked me to leave:eek: Oh the shame!
Has this happened to anyone else? Have you gone back to the same store? I'm not even gonna attempt the 2 new products but would like to finish off the crisps now I've started!

Been there done that. Can't believe they tried to use the data protection act as an excuse. It's technically trespass because you're on private property for reasons other than what you've been invited in for ie shopping.

I'd just go back again preferably on a different day in a different time frame as then it's unlikely the same member of staff will be at work. At least they didn't request you delete them.
  • Hi - I'm after advice again, please! I'm shopping around for car insurance - do you all declare MS as a second job? I feel I ought to as my mileage is going up a fair bit, even doing MS part time. But I can't work out what job description to put, as it doesn't recognise mystery shopper!

I think that's my worst nightmare! I've already decided that should they ever ask I'm doing a course in marketing looking at product placement. I look like a student so can just about get away with it.

Was doing a betting shop this morning and had a nightmare, I was asked for ID as the stupid woman behind the counter said I clearly wasn't 21, I'm bloody 36 !!!! Stupid mare.... I didn't have any ID with me so she threw me out of the shop - she actually said that I wasn't an adult and therefore not allowed to place a bet. The shop was miles from home so was unable to return with ID, am furious.....

With the Helion phone calls to a London based company, after location, shopper, date they are asking for time. Is this the time when I first made the call or the actual time I am filling the form in.
Also, nobody answered after 3 attempts, will I still get paid?
