    And the update:

they made me an offer......£3 extra.......i made a counter offer......£6 extra (explained that leaving work early would cost me more than £3)....

    There was a long pause..............

and then, yes because it's urgent.

Don't have the happy feeling though. She said 'on this occasion......' and i now feel like i have extorted a hugh amount of money from her and she's on the verge of ruin lol

It'll all be your fault if they go bust in the next few weeks, y'know :rotfl:

    Yes, I've replied.

Could do with a change, waiting for full details first though before I'll commit to it :D

On another note I booked a load of bookies last night on RE, they've obviously made a huge mistake somewhere because they have all disappeared from my account this morning apart from the competitor visits.

Now the big question do I do the competitor visits anyway without anything to compare them to :rotfl:

    They're &^%$£ useless sometimes :(

They won't, they're huge :D £6 is small change to anyone but especially them...

I've had a few urgent ones off them recently and always ask for petrol, every time its been a decent enough amount to make it worthwhile...

Gap on the other hand rang me for two urgent burgers and wouldn't give me anything  apparently they're "spending a lot on extra fees" and it's "affecting their bottom line". Well driving 60 miles for a greasy burger and a measly fee affects mine too :p

I did, would love to do it but I have a toddler who wouldn't appreciate me being away for a week at a time.

I find with Gap it works better if you negotiate other jobs with them.

And the GFK email wasn't that special just about a merchandising thing.

If you've got family and a "proper job" then probably not.

Without giving too much away it's merchandising all over the UK involving overnight stays etc for a short period. Could be fun but possibly sounds a bit gruelling to be honest.

Tried that one, corner shop 70 miles away in the other direction to the 60 mile away burger... Oh yeah I'd love to :rotfl:
