And for those moaning about Quidco, they have paid out £194000 of the £400000 owed to them by DGM. Well done to TCB and FatCheese for paying out in full though (although for all we know, they were owed £10 by DGM
)
Quidco paid out that £194,000 before they knew that DGM had hit the rocks. And they did it because they had no idea that they wouldn't get paid. It wasn't any kind of altruistic gesture on Quidco's part - though they're trying to make it look that way.
Once it became clear that DGM were in trouble, Quidco stopped paying their 'members' (interesting word, that - makes it look more like a club than a profit-seeking company) to avoid it costing any of their own money. Very important, isn't it, to make sure that it's the members who suffer the loss - and not the Quidco shareholders or directors?
There's a very clear message to anyone still left using Quidco - don't! You're paying them £5 a year for nothing. TCB is free - and they look after you far better than Quidco ever will.0
