Great isn't it? Topcashback and Fatcheese charge their members nothing, but pay just as much as Quidco - sometimes more. Then they decide, very sensibly and fairly, to cover members' losses on DGM, rather than have their members lose out.
Quidco, however, charge their members £5 a year, provide no more cash than the other free ones - and then expect their members to stand the DGM loss.
Why would anyone stay with Quidco now?0 -

You can now add GetPoundsBack to that list, they are also paying out.0 -

Doesn't Fatcheese take £5 a year the same as Quidco?0 -

So money from Voda. tracked this year (April), and validated 3 days ago should still payout from Quidco?
Just read this on quidco:Good morning,
Further to Andreas' post yesterday evening I am I afraid I cannot add to that at the moment, apart from to confirm that if you did not receive a personal email from us, then you are not affected by this issue. We plan to let you have another update later today.

Kind regards,
Jules.
Good luck to everyone else, though I might not be effected it has shaken my faith in quidco...0 -
I wonder how TopCashBack is financed? Surely, if they're paying out 100% of the cashback AND offering a "top-up" on top of that without any fee being charged AND paying out on transactions that they haven't even been paid for then at some point they're going to have some cashflow issues?
QuidCo might not pay out in circumstances like this, but there would be many more problems if TopCashBack went bust entirely.
Note: Whilst I do use QuidCo primarily I do have accounts on both and do use both. I'm merely trying to encourage healthy debate and playing devil's advocate here.0 -

I agree with posters that feel a little cheated.
I took a vodafone contract out in December 2009 and was still waiting for the £100 cashback this week when quidco told me DGM have folded and I won't receive it.
Frustratingly quidco told me that they've not received a payment from DGM since December 2009. Wish they'd mentioned that at the time I signed up...
I took the contract because of the cashback and now feel like a complete dope for relying on Quidco to pay out.
Lesson learned...0
