Why do people like you insist upon wasting the managers time? It's not his fault, and there is nothing at all that he can do about it, so what is the point? You're wasting your own time as well as his.
If you have a complaint, write to or phone head office, not that they'll care either, but at least you're talking to someone who might be able to action it.We have removed your signature - please contact the forum team if you are not sure why - Forum Team0 -
LOL - I hate to tell you but we spotted that one several years ago - I'm afraid the Tesco own brand ones haven't been the cheapest for a while! ONLY problem round here is actually getting the Nairns ones instead.🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

Sometimes it just makes you feel better. And doing something that makes you fell better is never a waste of time.0 -
There are customers at my store who complain about things to us. I wish they go to customer services and put their complaint to them. At least this way, the colleagues on the csd can input the complaints/product requests onto a database where the head office picks it up.0

I have looked carefully at lots of the "Buy 2 for £...." special offers and they can sometimes be more expensive than buying the individual items. Martin has pointed this out but it still happens! eg Sainsburys had promo on "Buy 2 Special K for £5" but it was cheaper to puchase 1 large box! Asda still have these promos. so watch carefully ladies and gents, because all that glistens is not gold!!0

For the last year now Tesco have been doing their cartons of juice for the 3 for 2 offer. So where it would be 88p for a carton of Grape juice or apple juice etc you would get the 3 cartons for £1.76 which is a good deal.
Was so vexed this week to see that the offer has been changed to get 3 for £2.50 or they are £1 each!!! So they think that people will think they are getting a good deal.
I've noticed they do that with the multi buys all the time. They put the price up.0 -
At Tesco, I was going to buy a packet of Daz washing powder (for 25 washes) and it was around £4.45. At the end of the aisle, they had the larger box (42 washes) on promotion for half price! The original price was £8 but half price it was £4 and it was cheaper than the Daz washing powder (25 washes). I didn't look the value per gram or Kg, I looked at how it would benefit me in the long run.
I did see an offer at Tesco on the Tesco High Juice. They were 99p each but they were on offer for 2 for £2 therefore ripping the customer off by 1 or 2p. Be wary of their labels and always check out the offers.Competition Wins:

The last time I bought some HP sauce in Sainsbury's the best value size was the smallest one in the square glass bottle. That was a while ago so I don't know if it's still the case but it's worth a check.
Edit: Just remembered I could check on mysupermarket.co.uk! The 255g size is better value than the 425g but not quite as good as the 850g. Man, that's a lotta brown sauce!0
