Not as far as I know as it only smells when I open the door really

I have a simular problem with mine even after cleaning out the filter. The only thing I can think of doing next is checking and cleaning the waste hose. Not a job I'm looking forward too.

  • I have been a handyman for many years and sometimes dishwashers stink so bad because they are not draining properly. When this happens the water drains but all of the food debris is captured in the drainage pipe. Have someone pull off your drainage pipe and make sure it is clear and free flowing. This will greatly improve your dishwashers performance. If you have an old dishwasher you may just need to get a new drainage pipe. Also always remember you need to run your disposal after each load of dishes. Hope this helps I really liked the lemon idea and will have to use it.
  • Last night did an intensive wash highest temp setting with a glug of thick bathroom bleach. Miles better result than the previous wash
