Some good points there Cardew. Bugs me why I can't do the quote box!! Makes the thread so much easier on the eye...aaargh!

The reason that your quotes don't display correctly is because you are editing them incorrectly and removing the quote close tag.

'the tariff rate is guaranteed not to increase until the end of April 2018! With regards to being 'locked in' you effectively aren't because you can switch away at any time to a new tariff/company with no exit fees payable]

If you edit this post and insert [/QUOTE before the final ] it will display correctly.

All quotes need a start tag - text to quote - followed by a close quote tag.
 Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:

    You really clutch at straws!

'Market leader price wise' by your definition is a 'market' consisting of two tariffs of which UW is the cheaper.

I have asked you several questions:

Do you think the latest UW 'price guarantee' is just a joke or a genuine guarantee?

Do you agree that UW gas and electricity for the average customer to be hugely more expensive?

Do you feel that the UW fixed to 2018 tariff is a good gamble - given my figures above?

Do you dispute my figures above?

    Walter's MO strikes again.

Now, about this challenge I set you several posts ago lol (you know the one where i asked for the name of the fixed deal that covers you for 4 Winters that is cheaper than the UW one? Remember?) I genuinely think you have missed your vocation in life - if you hadn't decided to install yourself as the Sage Of The MSE Energy Forum (TM) you would have been a brilliant poiltician. In the mould of Francis Underwood, no doubt.

Literally, hit the quote button (next to "Thanks"), put your cursor to the bottom of the text box (scroll down if you need to), and type.

There's a "Preview Post" button next to "Submit Reply" to see what you're doing will look like.

When I said edit this post, I was referring to post #3255 where you tried to quote but it didn't display correctly due to you editing too much out.

Edit post #3255 and insert the missing [/QUOTE between the word payable and the ]

    It really is that simple.

If you can't do that you may well be an ideal UW customer!

Thanks Bluebirdman....think I was getting mixed up with how many square brackets to leave in. Thought I needed to use one open bracket at the start then one closed bracket at the end....I get it now!

Never noticed the preview post button...I'd been submitting, then editing, then deleting, then trying again...doh!!

    I'm a newbie remember....but a little dab-hander now...ha ha! :T

I switched on the fuel forum here last Tuesday and a friend has offered me to join the utility wear house. I cannot read all the way through this thread can someone advise if I should cancel till I hear what they have to offer. I am not writing anything else in this post because Martin has obviously had previous problems do not want any argument just advice please.

In regards to being an agent and getting people to get other people to sign up for utilities can you actually make any money out of this? or save money?

does anyone have any REAL example figures they can give out of potential % earnings or savings? It's something I'm considering doing with a small amount of my time, but not sure if it's really worth it or not?

does anyone out there have first hand experience?

Lots of people make good money, up to very serious money from doing this. But it takes time to achieve this.

But they have their own dedicated thread and Martin MSE has decreed your only allowed to discuss them on it see:https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/2473547
