So, what's a PYRIMID sale? I can't find anything online....0

A pyramid scheme involves promising agents payments, mainly by enrolling other people into the scheme, rather than providing any real product. These are illegal in many countries.
So as a FTSE 250 uk based plc, regulated by ofcom and ofgem, working in partnership with many high street retailers, with over 415,000 homes and business using their services, this would mean that UW (telecom Plus) wouldn't fall into the category of an illegal pyramid scheme.0 -
not ilegal but it is the type of model setupDon't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.0

If you are looking for the archetypical pyramid payment scheme look no further than the state pension.

I have a meeting with a utility warehouse rep tomorrow with the view of me signing up. From what ive read about the company they seem pretty good Im clued up on MLM companies as im currently doing kleeneze. just wondering is any one currently a rep with UW and is it worth my £100 investment?0

I was a member of UW for a month and ditched them because they did not deliver what was promised. I was caught on a bad day and felt coerced into signing up to have my utilities with them. I have now switched back to my current provider who are in fact cheaper than UW.
I see loads of UW reps when I attend business networking events and to be honest they are quite hard sell and make a nuisance of themselves.0 -

If you are already doing one MLM, I would not sign up to a second. The mind of the bigot is like the pupil of the eye; the more light you pour upon it, the more it will contract.
