If you are concerned about postage costs(I appreciate it is the principle) how much were phone calls to DCA? (they normally have a premium or 0844 No)

Have you checked if it has affected your credit record?

Luckily my credit rating is good due to phone bills, a long time address and two previously paid off items on credit for large amounts of money (PC and a Macbook Pro) so I've never had an issue. How would I check my credit rating? I did communicate with the debt collectors and replied in accordance to their letter to avoid their charges so hoping I'll be okay.

And luckily the woman called me on her mobile so it came out of my free mobile minutes. Even if it was an 08 number I'd have used saynoto0870 or emailed instead!

And I did post it yesterday, went for lowest option with was around £2.70 and a wasted work lunch break. Still, I want that £2.70 back off them. I know it's petty and I'm not the moany type with time on my hands to be annoying (I barely have time to fit my own life in!) but I feel wasting more of their time is one small way of me getting my money's worth.

You can pay £2 to get your credit report from Experian/Equifax.

There are free options such as siging up for a free trial with Experian or Equifax and downloading your credit report then cancelling or you can join Noddle where you can view your credit report with Callcredit online every month for free.

Quick question (and distributors, do not inbox spam me!!) just how much does it cost to join as a distributor and is there a cost for doing it? I am trying to compare it with a couple of other companies doing the same.

It's £100 to join as a distributor. Not quite sure what the rest of your question means! £100 is the registration fee.

After the £100, is there further costs if I wanted to sell to companies? Are you saying it would cost me only £100 to join (if I wanted to). There are two other companies that do the same.

When you pay your £100 registration fee, the only extra cost is a monthly £3 distributor fee payable after your first year as a distributor and is deducted from your commission payment. As I understand it, this is to maintain your distributorship and cover these admin costs.

When you have collected three qualifying customers within your first 90 days as a distributor, you will receive a full refund of your registration fee. So, effectively, you would have a free distrbutorship.

Can you clarify what you mean by 'further costs if I wanted to sell to companies'?

You will probably want some company literature to offer prospective customers once your initial "bundle" runs out. TANSTAAFL.

Didn't it used to be £200 to join? And didn't you used to have to collect 12 qualifying customers for a refund? Or have I dreamt this?

PS I think Brassedoff is asking whether he/she needs to pay more for his/her distributorship if he wants to sell UW business energy?

Yes, it used to be £200 etc but the registration fee is now £100 and only 3 qualifying customers for the refund.

The registration fee is for anybody to promote and sell any of all of UW products, no extra charge!
