They are special rate numbers. You need to use the BT website to find what category your number is http://www.bt.com/pricing/current/Call_Charges_boo/1632_d0e5.htm#1632-d0e5 then look it up on the UW home phone tariff table. https://www.utilitywarehouse.co.uk/pricebook/index/tariff/payg

So if you look at the BT link you will find that 0844 815 XXXX is a g6 number then you look at the UW site and find that is 5.11p per minute except if it's a UW number and they are 5p per minute.
    :footie:
:p Regular savers earn 6% interest (HSBC, First Direct, M&S) :p Loans cost 2.9% per year (Nationwide) = FREE money. :p

Sticking to prices do you agree about UW gas and electricity being £170 pa more than the cheapest available tariff for someone with UK average consumption?

How can I agree or disagree I've only got your word for it. Told yer - don't do rates. No need. So I wouldn't bother pursuing that angle as I have no intention of getting involved. If others want to that's their choice.

    My other facts stand.

This is just untrue, and your fiction, definitely not fact, so how can you repeat you stand by it:

Fact 1. UW is not the cheapest but they are if people take 4 services. That's guaranteed and I for one believe the guarantee.......

Beware believeing this so called fact posted here by a UW rep.

Many people do share good deals they have found on MSE so others can take advantage of them.

But this is just misleading spam from a UW rep and is nothing like a fact.

Nowhere does the UW guarantee that if we take 4 services from them we will be getting the "cheapest".

Did you not say about Service:

    So they work office hours?
0844 numbers are not included in the 'free' UW phone calls are they?

BT technical support is 24/7 and free.

That is 'wiping the floor' - as defined by a UW salesman. Par for the course for your claims!

Sticking to prices, there are lots of them in post 2284 but you seem to be ignoring them. Curious? Not really. Just par for the course, basically.

This has now become the most boring and predictable forum I have ever encountered. So in the words of the Dragons - I'm out! And I won't be back.

Good bye and good luck. I've got better things to do like saving people money and making myself some money in the process. UW is my pension.

That is so sad Quentin regardless of whether you have searched for that or remembered it. You obviously don't have enough to do elsewhere.

Just had a look at some of your other postings Quentin.

Interesting that you point someone to T&C's/ small print in the thread about a car stolen by son.

T&C's apply to virtually everything we get from suppliers. It is up to us as individuals to ensure we know what those are and abide by them.

I'm not comparing anything specific at all. I am stating the fact that all cashback offers from all companies come with T&C's attached.

Fail to meet them, then fail to get your cashback. Simples!

Incidentally, with the O2 offer, I didn't have a 60 day window, I had a 14 day window. Not much different to the UW window, especially if it clashed with a fortnights holiday for me. Didn't as it happens and I had diarised it for a week before the 14 day period started to make sure I didn't miss it.

You've still not told us what you do and why you're so bitter.
