I said that you said in your Cardew voice that he is someone else and he has said that he is not and you said that he has never said what he says he said and that I have seen that he has said in the past what he says he said but you say he has never said.

Any proof that MillicentByStander is the same person as any of the other people that you mention in your posts frequently? Any proof at all?

Thanks Upto, for bringing me to my senses. Apologies to those who have had to read my nonsense over the past few posts. I'll restrict myself to the facts and not be drawn into this silliness by ignorance.

The continual tit-for-tat posts accusing people of this and other things is just making you all look like children.

Meeper the uw rep has had his personally abusive posts aimed at me removed, and so has stooped to repeatedly and pointlessly accusing me of using alteregos.

All I have done is to deny this each time he makes the accusation - though this troll like behaviour really should be ignored.

Before you hand out "childish behaviour" accusations you should note who is posting the accusations and who is merely denying them.

(And wouldn't most of us see your admitted behaviour in coming to these threads just to wind us up as childish in the extreme?)

Excellent and informative post about the products and services available. This, combined with the top marks in the recent Which? survey, combine to ensure that not only to customers get a fantastic service, they also get fabulous value for money on their telephony and broadband services. Kudos to you, MillicentByStander, for such a well-structured post which will no doubt assist new readers to this forum.

Funny how Cardew and Quentin never make any comments about the deal I posted, isn't it? Certainly Cardew's main bugbear with regards to UW would appear to be price. I've laid it all on the table here with regards to their telephony and BB deals, I've done this before but, again, no mention of them. Why not?

It's misleading to repeatedly keep suggesting Which? has given top marks to uw.

These top marks weren't given by Which?, but by 185 of the members of the UW.

They included giving top marks for value for money, even though their energy prices are regularly amongst the most expensive!

Cardew likes to focus on Gas/Electricity because it gives him a stick to beat UW with. He wants to keep discussions here solely about them. Most people here, even the distributors, will acknowledge that UW have some way to go to compete with the online deals available for Gas/Electricity. However, other UW services can be competitive, including the mobile SIM deals that some here are trying to discuss.

Again, for those who get drawn in by the angry people here, just put them on ignore, then stop quoting what they say. It cleans the thread up a treat and those of us who want to actually discuss things instead of slanging can do so without being interrupted by the children.
Good advice Upto. You seem like a level-headed individual.

Just for clarity, and not to start an argument, I didn't say in the quote you gave that Which? had given anything, but that UW had received top marks in the recent survey. I did not mention that they had been awarded anything by Which? at all in the section that you highlighted to quote.

    Just for clarity.

Just for clarity this is what you did say:

Any new readers here should take note that the independent market research company, Which?, who have always championed choice for consumers and ensured that they are not biased towards any companies, are giving top marks to Utility Warehouse in their survey for the best gas & electric providers in January 2011.

This is deliberately misleading, and you clearly did state that it is Which? who are giving top marks to uw!

Which? don't say that, and have previously commented how strange it us that uW members give top marks for value for money in these surveys when their energy prices are so much more expensive!
