I have read your response with considerable interest and taken on board all of the issues you have so kindly raised. I have given the matter considerable thought and, after many moments of careful reflection, have concluded that actually, no, I couldn't possibly care less.

I simply cannot tolerate such responses, they are simply not rude or insulting. They are designed to leave me feeling warm and fluffy and, as not feeling warm and fluffy is the most important thing for me, I feel this is not a place in which I can stay. Many people on this board clearly have no understanding of how to insult fellow posters in an offensive way without resorting to politeness and praise. I have no wish to engage with such a debate, and this is why I am leaving.
