PLEASE READ BEFORE POSTING: Hello Forumites! In order to help keep the Forum a useful, safe and friendly place for our users, discussions around non-MoneySaving matters are not permitted per the Forum rules. While we understand that mentioning house prices may sometimes be relevant to a user's specific MoneySaving situation, we ask that you please avoid veering into broad, general debates about the market, the economy and politics, as these can unfortunately lead to abusive or hateful behaviour. Threads that are found to have derailed into wider discussions may be removed. Users who repeatedly disregard this may have their Forum account banned. Please also avoid posting personally identifiable information, including links to your own online property listing which may reveal your address. Thank you for your understanding.

Leaving board because of insults 2

I hereby announce I am no longer going to write on this board.
At all times I have tried to back all my arguments up with abuse and thinly veiled insults. When people don't like what I say I just get told 'I don't like what you say" and 'Thanks, but I disagree".
I simply cannot tolerate such responses, they are simply not rude or insulting. They are designed to leave me feeling warm and fluffy and, as not feeling warm and fluffy is the most important thing for me, I feel this is not a place in which I can stay. Many people on this board clearly have no understanding of how to insult fellow posters in an offensive way without resorting to politeness and praise. I have no wish to engage with such a debate, and this is why I am leaving.
Of course, I reserve the right to review this decision in the morning.
Now @#$% OFF!
