Well, it's been an emotional journey so far, full of laughs, some tears, a couple of moans and a telling off. But I've enjoyed it so far, and look forward to the TWO hundredth post.
I'd like to thank my manager, for giving me the time off to waste on such a futile excersise, the weather, for being rubbish (until now) and keeping me indoors, My family, for the support they have given me throuout this whole project... I LOVE YOU MUM... everyone who has written to me and kept my spirits high when this thread flaged after only twelve or so posts, thanks guys. But most of all, thankyou, thankyou, thankyou, to that little band of fellow posters, without who this just wouldn't have been possible... (sniff) ... Thanks guys... You're the best!!!!!0 -
Good Lord! I think it's just as well that posting on this forum is anonymous or the men in white coats would be knocking on a few doors right now. It does make a pleasant change from some of the angsty bickering going on elsewhere, though.
Carry on0 -

Oh, I still love an angsty bicker, as you may have seen. But it's good to have a little lay-by to pull into from time to time, just to keep the world in perspective. We're taking up a tiny little corner of the world with this thread, but it gives me so much pleasure that I feel that corners use is justified.0 -
WWH - once you have completed FF's MarVeLoUs course.... i suspect that you may find you qualify for being nominated for the MBE
Martins's Best Enigmatic-Poster......
Should we start a Poll ?
i have just spent 5 mins watching the tinnnnniest wee bird on my office window sill cheeping to come in..... it was clearly exhausted as it had crashed into the window pane so it needed a wee sleep, and watching one of nature's tiniest dropping off and waking up and dropping off and waking up and finally giving in and sleeping was a rare and beautiful privilege....
its often the small things in life - like this threads wonderful Milligan-esq sojourn into the hitherto unexplored world of "CC" - and watching a tiny tiney bird - that put the rest of our perceived "BEEEG problems" into some sort of perspective......
Stop and enjoy the detail and the big things become less problematic.....
if you dont know the species of a bird... how do you look it up in a picture bird book .... There's a conunudrum for a lovely friday afternoon..............
cheers chaps and chapesses for giving me such laughter these last 24 hours !!!0 -

Oh, and I should really thank the guy who was the inspiration, the genesis of the project, the ONE guy without whom this whole crazy rollorcoaster ride wouldn't have even been thought of, the one guy who, sadly departed, sacrificed his dignity for this stupid thread.......... I hope, wherever he is, he can see what we've done and give us a big thumbs down, or a one fingered salute.... thanks, wherever you are.... PYEUK (or whatever you call yourself).0 -
