    hi all

I'm in again.. was dreadful at flying last week :( barely managed level 1 on most days. MUST try harder this week!! In my defence I was hiding from AF, and was ever-so-slightly-hopeful, but she found me  and I had a very bad case of CBA.
Anyway.. new week, new start & all that!

Thanks to the lovely ladies who keep us all on the straight & narrow :T

Childbirth isn't 'that' graphic.. 9 is perfectly acceptable to know they come from the faff.. and relevant anatomical parts.. and I am not one of the more lieral type of parents.

Mine have had a good look at my section scar lol

DD2 will be fine.. just no hot baths! My DD1 has RE exam tomorrow afternoon.

Would the implant maybe be better for DD1? It is less upsetting to the hormone balance and works very well on stopping AF entirely for some people.. she can have it at the family planning clinic so the gp can be bypassed. The side effects are ,uch lower as the dose is much lower.. definitely worth asking the consultant.

Thanks for that - DD2 is starting to perk up - pizza and smiley faces:D - her pain is now down to normal levels - we will do some RE revision tonight but it's only a half GCSE (!!!!!!????) and if she's dodgy tomorrow I'll get it sorted.....

I was wandering about the implant - lower dosing sounds the way to go...

    I HATE packing

So do I, I often think I'd pay somebody to do it.

Just spoke to DH on the phone. He is hoping his flight home will go tomorrow.

Just having a little break before clearing up from tea.

Looks like lots of our kids are doing the same exam tomorrow, and I bet I get that one to invigilate. It's the philosophy and ethics half GCSE, lots of school will have done a half last year, ours does Christians and Muslims.

T&D - my DS3 is year 3 (8) and he is fully aware of how babies get out. I find a bit of humour helps with most things. I tell him how he put his head up rather than tucked in because he's nosey and was a right pain which mean I needed to go to hospital in an ambulance. He thinks this is very funny and then says sorry did it hurt a lot.

Lady Liberty I was missing you this morning so glad you posted. Lots of love for you sweetie.

    Thanks Valli :D

I'm NOT travelling in my suit... so I'm packing a suit dress, cardigan, heels, tights toiletries & makeup in my laptop bag (with my laptop etc). I think I'll keep my money/passport etc in there too, and not have to have a handbag on the flight.

I then just need to decide which bag the rest of the stuff fits best in. As I'm having 3 nights and half a day that I'm not working, gym kit and non-work clothes are now even more of a priority and I don't care if I have to have hold baggage. But I'm definitely missing a specific size of suitcase, so need to work out what I need to get!

My suit is packed using tissue paper, my shoes are in bags, the toiletries that I need in my hand luggage are in their clear bag - but if I decide to take ALL my hair products they'll have to go in the hold as the mousse is more than 100 ml... and I've lost my big pot of hair wax and need to refill the little one... looks as if I'll be shopping at the airport then...

Evening campers :) Afraid I have sort of lost today even though I was up when DH was up with the lark. But then I toodled off to bed when he went to work at 6ish :) I was listening to Chris Evans on Radio 2, but I must have fallen asleep as next thing I knew it was 11.30am  So I got up, had a bath, fed the birds and washed up. By this time it was time for me to hunt out some lunch :) I then vaguely remember sitting down for 5 mins and the next thing it was three hours later  I have managed to do two loads of washing and got it dry somehow, gods knows how but it did dry..lol The short time I have been awake I have S&S the kitchen, hotspotted the living room and made the bed :)

Hugs and love for Toots, Diva and LL

Valli you have to love children don't you? Trouble is some of them still have that mentality as adults - she didn't ring me or something so I'm not going to ring her etc!!

Before I post my list I have a wee confession to you all, now don't get angry with me and don't shout at me please!! I got cornered by the nurse the other day while I was on the phone to the surgery - I have to have my smear on Thursday.. Nothing unusual about that you may say but it is my first one in errrrr 11 years  I know I have always been so scared and every time I make the appointment before, I mean to go but then I chicken out and cancel the appointment. But I am actually going to go and I know I don't deserve it but can you all send me vibes that it is all okay, please.

Ok now on to the lists:
