Evening ladies my flying friends - would you mind if I asked a little off topic question please?

I have a student leaving, (I am practice teacher for) in a couple of weeks who is about to move to a new house away from uni and with her OH. She has been valued at work by my collegues and we are all sad to see her leave and wish she could stay in a job if we had one spare.

I would like to get her a nice thoughtful leaving present but can't think what we could get her that's not tat

Options new house new life leaving uni early 20s non drinker likes art moving in with fella
final unsecured debt to repay currently £8333

Theatre tokens? There are some you can get that can be used at many venues and she would remember you when she went. Will keep thinking for other ideas.

What about cinema vouchers or IKEA vouchers (if they do them/are near) or B&Q vouchers - they are bound to want to put a lick of paint over something if they are moving to a new place.

Could also put together a teaching survival kit - paracetamol, mini wine bottle, choccy, post-it notes, mug, highlighters, pens, whistle, glue stick - all the things you always need and can never find in school which would also come in handy if she ends up doing supply!

Oh and thanks to our illustrious leaders, will be following at a distance again but still flying in principle

Thank you - she mentioned IKEA trip for stuff for the new flat - not a teacher though I did think about a work survival kit!

Hmm good idea - have to see how much we get in the collection for this and see if we can stretch to 2 for spamalot visiting for a week in July :D What are the theatre tokens? I've never come across these anywhere?

Big fanks for all the ideas my fantastic thoughtful flyladies whose brains works when mine stops!
