Mrs B - stir in some washing up liquid and feed it the yappy dog? Mix in some jam or honey and feed it to the children? Paint it on some of your lovely new garden to give it an aged appearance? Not a huge fan yoghurt in any form myself as you can probably tell. I dont like Pesto either. Or anything much really (according to my poor long suffering mother).

Ironing all done now as well - amazing how much I can get down when I step away from the laptop and put some music on.

Poohbear - not seen you post for a few days, hope all is ok?

getting there. Shouldnt take me to long to finish, then I am going to start on the bathroom, probably after the school run now tho.
Need to do something with the stairs too, everything gets put on the firts few steps 'to be taken up later' but they never get taken up. And the stairs need a good vacuuming too.

Right, off to change over washer and dryer and get kitchen finished.

I've created a gap by moving something, I've sown some pot marigolds for now so hopefully they will grow and fill the gap until I find a small shrub in the autumn, it's quite a dry spot.

    .

I love pot marigolds, I used to have some in the garden but they disappeared.

Washing all dry and put away. I've lit a candle because the kitchen stinks of curry.

Was getting on ok, but then bit of a barney got in the way. So, I'm going to wallow and feel sorry for myself for a bit, and pick up where I left off tomorrow. No more flying today, unfortunately - not my house, so I currently don't have the inclination.

Well done to all you Sooper Speedies, who had done a whole days work before I even got out of bed - I hope to be in a better frame of mind to join you tomorrow.

Notso.. I think the mum is being a twerp thinking her son has no idea where babies come from.. if they had been discussing conception and intercourse then maybe she could have a point.. how old are these children BTW? If they are over 5 who cares if they know babies come out of your faff?.. they do.. so what? I hate it when people tell their children lies about natural bodily functions.. We tell our children not to lie then blatantly lie to them. It is very easy to fend off most questions with a simple basic reply they are usually satisfied with that.

Have just been told by OH that my green skirt & pink cardi do not "go"
I have decided that actually I don't CARE! Quite a refreshing change to my attitude, actually!.
I can be a badly co-ordinated hippie today if I want to!
He's wrong. Pink and green go well together and it's sounds a lovely, happy, spring-like combination. Tell him he should be grateful you aren't wearing black and grey...

Ok... which suitcase to put all this stuff in? I really, really don't want to take a big suitcase but it isn't looking hopeful...
