    Found receipt for fags in DD1's room and appointment card for tattoo parlour:eek::eek::eek: for Fri 28th (she gets paid the day before).

    I now need to find something irresistable for us to do to keep her away from Tattoo Place. Off to lastminute.com to investigate possibilities.....

    Sorry kezlou - I think I must have missed your 11:00am HHC announcement. Hope everyone got on OK - I overran, but I have:

    * Finished stripping off the lamb
    * Made the lamb stock
    * Made Persian lamb with apricots for tonight's meal
    * Put the rest of the lamb away in the fridge
    * Slung all the pans and chopping board into the sink to soak
    * Boiled the stock over, and as a consequence....
    * Have cleaned my stove top and the counters round it!

    I'm now eating my buttered toast and swigging tea. I really must get my skates on with this cleaning now because I want to spend some time in the garden this afternoon: got loads of weeding that won't wait....

    Starting again at 12:00 with zcc - and I think I must just plug on with the job until I finish.

    MissH

    Many,many moons ago, my folks stopped me from getting a tattoo by agreeing to let me have one, coming with me to the Tattoo Parlour and then picking out designs for themselves to have!! There was no way I was going to let my "uncool" parents (well, I was a teenager! Now I know better!) have a tattoo, so I decided not to have one! Very clever reverse psychology!! Good luck with your preventative tactics!

    ETA: Meant to add I've now finished the fridge! Off to check list and get a bit more done in HHC....

    Washing nearly dry, will check it again after lunch which is cooking now.

    I've just moved a plant in the back garden, it's a nice grass which I planted last year but it's apparent now that it's in the wrong place and it's getting overshadowed by a shrub. So I've moved it - really quickly so it won't notice what's happened ;) Hope it will be OK but if not, can't be helped. I need another perennial of some sort and maybe about three bedding plants just to fill the gap where the grass was until the shrub gets bigger by next year.

    Another excuse to go to the garden centre!

    Off to stir curry sauce.

    :rotfl::rotfl:

    I've created a gap by moving something, I've sown some pot marigolds for now so hopefully they will grow and fill the gap until I find a small shrub in the autumn, it's quite a dry spot.

    Just finishing lunch and then I will do the meal plan and a few bits on here before hoovering downstairs.

    Also need to remove the soot from the slate hearth and polish it.

    Hello all!!

    Big thanks to those who made nice noises when I was feeling crap. ESP to HEX for the pm xxx

    I am ABSOLUTELY determined there will be no more talk of this dammed Black Dog this week.

    Those on my FB may have noticed I have deactivated it for the moment. It's taking up too much time and I need a break from it.

    I shall sort of follow this lists this week... the house isn't looking too bad as it is... bit of dusting wouldn't harm though (dirty cow!! :rotfl:) and I'm being very good and doing WM/TD AND ironing EVERY day!!:T

    Please don't be offended that I won't keep up with the thread, I just never manage it. You all know that I DO care about you all and I'm always glad to hand out a bit of advice if you want it, I just always miss stuff on the thread somehow.

    Oh and I have a tub of fromage frais in the fridge I should use up... any VERY BASIC/SIMPLE ideas, girls?

    Much love to you all

    Mrs B xx
    :rotfl:If you have made someone laugh today... check your skirt isn't tucked into your knickers!!!:rotfl:
    Mrs B you're a legend.
