well, I'll watch you all rush about.. I've just sat down with a cuppa after hanging out 2 loads of washing, putting 2 more loads in, DW on, TD on and the bunnies outside to mince the knee-high grass!!! They are not doing a good job!

Kitchen is done, plus back hall and cloakroom (Alison Moyet Greatest Hits today). Made a start on the DR and hoovered the ground floor. WM is on for the second time and the ironing press is out ready for later.

PP - you made me smile because I was having sugar free muesli with skim milk and a glass of water. Yours sounded so much more interesting!

Lots of nicotiana and cosmos planted. And a rose (probably not in the best place, but it's one more thing done). Recycling put out. Mattress topper in WM. DW half emptied.

Need to walk to the post office now and deal with my driving licence, then get started on my packing (just in case... need to pack lots in case I can't get back either!). Looks as if sorting out the presentation will be waiting till the very last minute... :o

hi all, i'm in again this week, thanks to the fab ladies who run this thread, was decluttering a worktop this morning, and whilst i was at it, cleaned inside two kitchen cubcoards, and decluttered some old crockery ready for the charity shop, and threw away unwanted items in food cupboard, eg sweeteners, and other stuff i wont use.
then as i got upstairs to have a shower, decided to clean bathroom while i was up there, then while i had cleaning stuff out, cleaned downstairs bathroom too.
will hoover kitchen floor after i've had a rest and some lunch,
and put a second load in wm

    Searching and finding HHC:-

Found DH's flip flops and sandals for Morocco - can't find his linen trousers.

Found receipt for fags in DD1's room and appointment card for tattoo parlour:eek::eek::eek: for Fri 28th (she gets paid the day before).

I now need to find something irresistable for us to do to keep her away from Tattoo Place. Off to lastminute.com to investigate possibilities.....

    Hoovered hall, stairs and LR.

ok, So I didn't sit and watch.. I checked my bank accounts, paid all but 2 of this months outstanding bills and updated my spreadsheets.. my overall debt has reduced loads this last month and another thing has been paid off.. but I am still slightly higher (£179.29) than the balance shown on the siggy strip so I cannot update that just yet.. but I will on Friday!.. I have got christmas paid off and it is just the fact I have been buying lots of baby stuff and stuff for the house which means it hasn't reduced faster.. but we are going down rather than up.. BHS storecard is still next on my hitlist and has just over £1000 left to pay (1050 to be precise!) by Friday this will be less than £1000.

I need to get some dosh off my mother as well.. she took my credit card on holiday last September so is now paying it off..

Right.. off to declutter a layer of grime from my body.. back soon..

Well the kitchen is actually looking clean , first time in two weeks :o, yes we know i am that lazy.
Pigpen - thats amazing clearing all that debt. That's what i'm doing slowly but surely, hopefully at the end of the month, i'll clear at least one credit card totally off.

Monday ~ Kitchen and Dining room
    Level One

    Declutter and mop/vacuum floor
    Level Two
    Level Three
    Extras
    1. Wash the windows!
    2. wipe over the woodwork
Also put another load in the washer, soaked chick peas, sorted out the bit for tiles, moved all other kitchen DIY into a bag and removed a huge pile of carp to the bin. So i'm getting, all thats left to do is sort the floor out.
Right to have another cuppa or carry on cleaning the house.
