To do:
[STRIKE]Emails[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]Online banking[/STRIKE]
Roof bars
Freegle IBC
Holiday visa paperwork
Sort van service
Get to grips with FX trading system (try & make a profit) - getting there slowly....very slowly
Pay DS1’s Boys Brigade trip away
Build website - getting there, almost done
[STRIKE]Fetch leaflets[/STRIKE] - chase printers...not sure if done yet...
I've also done a HHE - kettlebell workout so pleased about that.Just need to make sure I do one everyday
Also had DS3's best mate's mum on phone. Her DS has been rather graphically telling his mates about childbirth (from his sex educatin book) - at the school dinner table and 1 parent has complained. She was checking that my DS3 was Ok (which he is - he hasn't mentioned it )
I then had DS3's 2nd best mate's mum on the phone - it was her DS who wasn't happy & she who complained. But she doesn't want to tell t'other mum & has so lied to her & said her son is ok.
Trouble is, I know the truth. I have 1 mum who is now worrying that very young kids heard her son, when I know it was a child of the same age.
Thing is, the troubled boy is very young for his age (he honestly believes babies come from the stork, as per Dumbo, and found the whole thing disgusting (his words apparently). His mum does treat him very much like a baby & she doesn't want to let him know anything like the truth.
I'm going to have a chat with DS3 when he gets home from school & see what he says.
Any other ideas gratefully received...:D
Talk to you all later.....
NotsoI'm not so tired & not so desperate..... mainly thanks to MSEso just call me Notso.....
Yes, I'm juggling and I might drop some.... but at least I'm trying

Clothes sorted out for trip. Need to work out which suitcase to put them in and decide whether to take gym stuff (and if so, do I take running or workout shoes?). Shoes are always the problem when packing... I can't work in the same ones that I travel in or want to wear when I'm not actually working. But I also don't want to wear my running trainers the whole time I'm off duty! I'm packing a dress for downtime, as it takes up less space than jeans... and I can take a wrap instead of a coat and just hope it's not too cold.0 -

My opinion - she needs to accept that if she complains about something she has to stand up for herself and tell the first mother that her son is unhappy. If she keeps up this pretence, then the poor parent will be completely baffled and won't be able to deal properly with the situation.
Good to see you sounding so much betterI have a sign for the thread this week:
House is now clean and tidy, so I'm going out into the garden :j:rudolf: Sheep, pigs, hens and bees on our Teesdale smallholding :rudolf:0 -
Hi everyone.
Thanks as always to Flylady Central Command.:o
Not sure how I'll do this week; still trying to declutter this damned lupus flare, and I have to feel better by Friday, when Sidney arrives. Really getting stressed now; I want the little chap to enjoy his stay.
We did go to the Moot after all last night; when I looked at the list, I realised it was to be a talk on iridology, and I didn't want to miss that. It was quite weird though; one of the ladies doing the talk looked at my eyes, and gave me a very accurate summary of all the stuff going on with me!
The kitchen's a tip at the moment - I have several tasks wanting doing in there, and the equipment for them is all out on the work surfaces.
OK, we'll aim for Level One and take it from there. I just have to try not to feel like a total failure if I don't do it all, including extras.:oIf your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
