WANTED: Slice of oak tree trunk.....

Does anyone have a slice from an oak tree trunk, mustn't be thicker than 42mm. To be used as a floor inlay. Thanks!

    Talk about specific. :D

Better than cutting down a whole tree just for a 42mm slice, I guess!

Indeed, although I have to wonder what they'd say if I got in touch and said I have a 41mm slice ;)

That would have been okay - but 43mm would have been refused

That would have been perfectly acceptable - read the original again :)

    From Freegle

At work, I have an elderly railway enthusiast as a secret santa and I thought it would be really great if I could turn up a small piece of memorabilia from his one great interest as a gift.

Nothing too large please (the gift is given at the works Christmas party) but if you do have something suitable, I am sure it will be greatly appreciated.
