For those of you wishing to participate in the 2012 Olympics as a rower, I have the ideal piece of equipment for you, that being a rowing machine. I found the piece of equipment to be extremely effective and very realistic when I have several people around me. One making sea gull noises and plopping bits of runny ice cream on my shoulder, another flicking salty water in my face and a large portly man making sounds of fog horns and tug boats.

I of course cannot offer these people with the rowing machine mostly because they are busy with their imitation seaside carnival show but also because they are entirely imaginary.

I would prefer that it go sooner rather than later because I need the space to put a guest bed up….hang on is that someone at the door?….. sorry, I thought it was someone coming to collect it off freecycle already which would have been bizarre as I am still typing….

So any one that can get here soonest can have it. I will clean the imaginary sea gull pooh off before collection of course.

All the best for now, later and possibly before

P.S. I wrote this in a hurry as my keyboard is running low on ink and wanted to type this before I run out.

Yeah right, pull the other one.....

    Hi,

Due to the rather poor offerings of television lately me and my wife have been watching lots of films. I was just wondering if anybody had any DVDs/Blu-Rays gathering dust that they didnt want. I would prefer them to be in a correct box and definaltly no pirate copies please. I am not a bootsaler and am doing this for me and my wife. I will collect at times convienient to you.

    Thanks reading.

    Hmm.

A lot of DVDs end up in landfill sites then?

    "Hi guys
I'm looking for a psp for my son as I spilt juice over it by mistake and he is really upset if anyone can help I would be most greatfull

I'll just go and look in my pile of unwanted expensive electricals shall I? :)

The generosity shown on Freecycle always gives me a warm feeling.

My eldest son managed to kill his Nintendo DS (old silver original one) a few years ago; having no money to replace it we put up a post on freecycle.

hey presto we were offered one within a couple of hours.

    It was most gratefully received

We ourselves have given away many hundreds of pounds worth of childrens clothes, large items of furniture, electrical items, household goods and baby equipment to worthy recipients (we always specify we want a reason why the collector wants/needs any item we are offering)
