I have merged your thread with this one, have a look at the link given above as that website gives lots of details on each phone and are very competativly priced :)
  • Hi all, I've currently got a twin set of BT Dect phones. Not sure which model they are mind, have had them for a couple of years. However, the numbers of the LCD screens have now gone, so you can no longer see who is actually phoning you via the caller ID.

So I think it's time to buy a new set of phones. Any advice as to which phones to go for?

My specification is that I would like two phones, cordless, decent sound quality during calls, caller ID and an answering machine. Any advice would be appreciated :)

Try here. I quite like the Mango twin set in black but I suppose it depends on your taste and how much cash you've got.
The Diverse range is a good one but then, most DECT phones are good now .. it all depends on what features you want etc.

I have used them and can recommend their service :)

Your right, they look cool in black! Only ever seen them in the standard colour before today.

Am open to the make of phone, just wondered what people would recommend, as I've not heard the best of reports on BT phones. They may well have changed since I last bought one though.

Last reviews I read on DECT phones were

    BT FUSION 2 stars

    BT ZENITH 3 stars

    IDECT X1 4 stars

PHILIPS 5252s/05 The only one which was given a 5 star rating, this is a twin set complete cordless systemwith excellent sound quality
, digital answering machine, hands free, graphic display with the ability to send and receive text messages with a bettery life of 15 hrs. all for the sum of # 80.00

This is the one I will be buying when it comes out ( next month I think)

Just checked out the web site you supplied and I found the phone I want its advertised at #80.00 but this place is selling for #49 ? on your recommendation I will place my order as I have never dealt with them before.

  • I bought a BT Diverse 6210 from them and it developed a problem some six months down the line. I phoned the BT helpline for the phone but they decided it was faulty so I phoned Telephonesonline and as the phone was within the 12 warranty they asked me to send it back for replacement.

I posted the phone back on a Wednesday and by Thursday the replacement was on its way to me, so yes I can also recommend their aftersales care.

    :)
