this needs to be investigated i agree, i have a good mind to just turn up at the offices where people are due to start work and see if exists using the excuse that i want to book a car, wonder if the office actually exists or not, if this is a scam then those who hve already paid their money need justice, we are not sending them anything

rung trading standards and acas, this was reported by somebody else yesterday, they are going to investigate and ring me with any info, also i am reporting it to the jc

ive rung nwd and its just ringing out and saying your call cannot be answered, looks like hes caught wind of the fact that people have cottoned on, i will keep trying and if i get through will give him a good grilling! Also rung pegusus house castle donninton where they held interviews and nwd are supposed to be based, they have told me that he is not based there on a daily basis and there is not a business running from there at the moment, he has just told them he will be working from there in the future. They are going to chase and get back to me. In the meantime Acas has rung back to say those who have paid money or anyone else wanting to lodge a complaint should ring Consumer Direct if enough people complain they can do something about it. JC will try to suspend adverts but have asked people to send any complaints to the office they applied to the job from.

When my husband was offered the job i rang up and asked to speak with a Chauffeur he gave me a mobile number of someone who i spoke with - he said he had worked for the company for 5 years and it was a great job!! however this person could have been anyone... i really have no idea what to do??

wkd if you still got the number ring it and see if anyone answers, but as they not answering any of their other numbers i doubt they will, think all calls were going through to a mobile anyway. With regards to the money you paid, can you put a stop on it, if not ring barclays with this blokes account details and they will use the anti fraud team to investigate. p.s wasnt the company only formed oct 2009 so how could the bloke have worked there 5 years.
HA, IVE JUST LOOKED AT THE LETTER WITH OFFER OF JOB DATED 9TH MAY, OH DIDNT EVEN APPLY FOR THE JOB UNTIL 10TH MAY! ALARM BELLS AND ALL THAT..........

Has anyone looked on the london gazette with the directors name? It will tell you how many companies the directors have liquidated? Or snoop4directors gives details of how many companies an individual has active, liquidatted etc (you don't need to pay for this info)

Please don't assume that becuase a job is on the job centre then it is legit, we almost lost a 2k deposit for a job we replied to, standard deposit for what we do. We have had emails from other staff members about how they lost their deposits. The company has now dissolved and they have created more and have been advertising on the job centre up to 10 times a day. It's not a chauffering job but do becareful as there are so many people out there who will take your money

wkd15...i wud get ur husband to withdraw his notice at his present employer and goto barclays bank and try to get his 100quid back. if he cant then just put it down to experiance, but hopefully he will still ave a job !! good luck

i reported all what i know to the job centre yesterday and they are going to investigate, but that cud take weeks..too long to stop innocent people losing their money and even giving up their present jobs.

as far as im concerned this is definately a scam and im not sending a penny to him...nothing that ive investigated adds up !!

My friend applied for this job and was interviewed at Castle Donington and was told he was successful told he was due to start on the 14th of June with the request for £100 he was over the moon and went out for a meal to celebrate
On Monday he spoke to me and alarm bells rang so I put the company name in to Google and found this thread and luckily avoided him paying the £100.
I have since been in contact with the Nottingham Evening post and they are unable to run his story due to the fact he has not paid and we contacted trading standards in regards to this on Monday they are going to look in to it. The Nottingham Police said also they are unable to help as it is a civil matter?
It is fraud should be a police matter??
I want to be able to help people effected and also if anyone could who paid ring the Nottingham Evening Post Newsroom on (0115) 964 4065 or email newsdesk@nottinghameveningpost.co.uk to avoid other being effected.

Hi,
i have rang ACAS and consumer direct, they are going to report to Trading Standards.
I have rang all of the numbers I have including the following mobile numbers;
07854 368174 Mark Shortland AKA mitch & the following number that i was given as a cheaffuer currently employed, at the time of phoning he said he was called Michael Bailey the number is 0758 5228517 i have since rang and the person said he was Mark Barton and new nothing about NW CS, i did recognise his voice so can only presume it is the same person, please feel free to inundate these numbers!!!!
Does anyone have the bank details that where quoted in the original offer letter - unfortunatley i sent these back without taking copies.
I have a copy of a contract should anyone want a copy.
I am hoping my husband will retain his job however would like to keep his identity hidden just in case his current employer gets wind that the job he was going for was a scam.
The only other thing i can do is to phone Peter House in Manchester which is where he went for his interview to find out if anyone is still in the office.
If anyone was interviewed in Manchester by Mark Shortland or Jane Harrison please let me know.
Lets hope we can divert anyone else from being affected by these total A*******s.

Also please be aware if you google the company it comes up with 20 Fletcher Gate, Nottingham who have nothing to do with this company and never have had and have had there address used without there knowledge on google.
